Double Delights with Chi Chi

Today I have two DT cards to show using Digi Sets available from Chi Chi Memories.

The first card is using my favourite image, Little Ted, I have used the PNG format and inserted my own sentiment, although in the set there are several that can be used, this is the Thinking of You/Sympathy Set.

I have used Basic Grey Wisteria papers, my circle cutter and punches for the flowers and butterflies.  I coloured Little Ted with Copics.

My second card is showing off the new set that has just been launched called 'The Costume Set' perfect for any occasion including Thanksgiving and Halloween.

The bp is Bearlymine, I have added some of my Bee ribbon, butterflies and a Die Cut sentiment as well as inserting my own using my graphics programme.  The full set is shown below and available to purchase as a whole set for just $5.50 or individually.

Chi Chi DT Card

This is a card I made last week using the new Chi Chi, Get Well/Sympathy digi stamps, I made it especially for a friend who has just lost her mum, it has been posted so I hope she doesn't mind me showing it here.

This is an 8x8 card using bp from K&Co, I coloured the image with promarkers the wording comes with the set and I used my graphics programme to insert it in the centre of the barrow

I added some black ribbon and flowers I didn't want to over embellish it but made up with insert a lovely verse.

Yellow Submarine - Chi Chi Memories DT Card

This card I have made using the new set of Digi stamps from Chi Chi Memories called #'Splash of Fun'

I have used sketch No: 26 from Tuesday Morning Sketches as it is their birthday you get to choose which of your favourite sketches to use.

I have used a combination of backing papers the yellow is SU the two different coloured blues are from Crafty Ann's Digi Shop, they are beautiful.

I coloured the image with promarkers then cut it out and adhered to the central square with silicone I added some gems to look like bubbles, the sentiment is from Messy Rabbit.

Chi Chi Summer Fun

Hi all today I would like to show you my Chi Chi Memories DT card using and image from the Summer Fun set available from Chi chi Memories this is the full set

and here is my card

I had a little fun while making this card using different colours for the background then adding the little Summer boy on his swing.

I used a blue gingham paper not sure whose it is found it in my stash box, the owl paper is from the Papermania pad that was part of my candy win from Cheryl, I mounted both pieces onto blue card the central image is a background from our lovely Spyder aka Lyn and can be found HERE. I coloured everything with promarkers. I cut the little boy and swing out with a craft knife then cut two tiny slits in the tree popped the top of the swing through so the image is actually free and moves. I also added some card candy.

Chi Chi Memories 4th July DT Card

Hi all this is my first post of the day and this card I have made for the July 4th Celebrations but this image can be used for any occasion and available from Chi Chi Memories.

I have used the balloon and little bear image for my card, if you remember we wanted you to suggest a name for this little bear you will be seeing him popping up in the future so keep an eye open for him.

I have used Chi Chi Memories backing paper which comes in a set of several digi papers I added some corners and little shiny stars, I have cut the rectangle from a scalloped Nestie and it is a type of holographic card which has a lovely shimmer to it.  The image I coloured with Sakura glaze pens giving it a sheen.

So it's up, up and away for the little teddy who needs a name lol.

Chi Chi Memories DT Card

Hi all today I have a card to show you that I have made using the new Digi Set from Chi Chi Memories called 4th July.

I decided to use the little girl who I am growing very fond of also the mushroom both from the same set, Natalie has also got some Digi Papers one of which I am using for my background both images have been coloured with Copics. I added a wide strip of red ribbon then topped it with some white grosgrain I also added a yellow star with a blue button as its centre.

Chi Chi Memories Fathers Day DT project

Morning everyone hope you are all well and enjoying some lovely sunshine, unfortunately the warm weather does not agree with me and I have swollen up a bit, my hands are twice the size they normally are and quite painful. I have started visiting you but will have to continue tomorrow hopefully the swelling will have gone down by then.

Before I get to my DT project I wanted to say a big thank you for all your wonderful encouraging and supportive comments on my work that I show.  It is this continued friendship and support that helps me to try and find that little bit of inspiration to share with you. So Thank You.

It will soon be Fathers Day and Chi Chi Memories have a new set of images that are just perfect for the occasion and here is just one of the images that you can buy from HERE.

I decided to follow a tutorial on Liz's' blog HERE for the box and I just loved making it the top of the box has an aperture covered with acetate.  I used Bazzill 12x12 card the papers are a mixture from my stash I added a ribbon which says hugs and kisses also some card candy,  I then added a tag that matches the card I thought it would make a nice little set.

A Bit of Elephant Love

Hi all today I am giving you some Elephant Love from Chi Chi Memories.

This is Freddie and isn't he cute, this is my DT card for Chi Chi and I have decided on an Asian theme as you can see by the colours I have used.

The papers are Basic Grey I have mounted Freddie on a scalloped Nestie and doily I then added some gems and buttons.  Freddie I printed out three times so I could cut him out and layer him with silicone I have used promarkers to colour him if you want some more inspiration using this fab image then please pop over to Chi Chi Memories the other DTM have some wonderful cards on show.

Chi Chi Memories Sunshine

Hi all this is my DT project for Chi Chi Memories and this is adorable image is from the newly released Sunshine set and I love it the set has both the girl and boy with the sun as well so pop over and have a gander they are gorgeous.  

I am always struggling to make cards for the men/boys and it is fab to have these to play with, I decided to make another door hanger using DCWV card added some ribbon and buttons the image I printed twice so I could decoupage him I have used Copics to colour him, the sun I copied three times then coloured them with Sakura yellow Gelly Roll pen to give a shine.  I hope you like it hugs to all see you later.

Sunny Days with Chi Chi Memories

Hi everyone hope you are well and have had an enjoyable weekend.

There has been a new 'Sunny Days' set released at Chi Chi Memories and this little girl is only one of the set and isn't she beautiful with her parasol.

I have coloured the image with Copics cut her out and mounted her with silicone the bp is DCWV Blossoms and Butterflies which I thought was apt for this beautiful weather we are having.

I added some cherry blossom flowers from Wild Orchid and punched out some butterflies on gold holographic mirror card I also added a wide pink satin ribbon tied in a big bow.

There is a little boy and a sun that comes with this set so to check it out visit Chi Chi Memories.

I am also entering this into this weeks Dare U 2 Digi Stamp the theme being 'flowers'.

Birthday Girl

Hi all this is a card I have made to enter into the Creative Card Crew Challenge ' Happy Birthday'.  I have used the 'Birthday Girl Set' from Chi Chi Memories to make a crossover card.  

The set comes with several images that are just perfect to make the always needed birthday card.  I have used the girl and balloons with my graphics programme I have put the balloons to look as if she is carrying them then added the text.  On the front of the card I added the text from the same set 'Sweet' and double layered with foam pads.  The papers are SU (I think) coloured with Promarkers added a ribbon, flower a button for it's centre and some butterflies I hope you like it hugs to all.

Sharing Some News

Hi all I wanted to share some news with you which is, I have been invited to be a DT member for Natalie at Chi Chi memories and I accepted.

Before I tell you any more can I show my first card as a DT for Chi Chi Memories.

This beautiful image is part of a set that was released in celebration of Mothers Day but can be used for any occasion for mum.

I have made an easel card in purple the top bp was in a mixed bag from Crafts and Me I added some wide purple ribbon I mounted the MS punched border onto it.  The image I coloured with Copics then cut out with my Oval Nesties the scalloped Nestie I embossed with Swiss Dots.  I have also added some Blueberry Cosmic Shimmer Twinkles to the oval and to the daisy border.  The bottom of the easel card I attached some wide natural lace and the heart which is also part of the Mothers Day set.

Chi Chi Memories will also be launching a new challenge on 22nd April so this is a must for avid crafters who love a challenge.
