ONE FOR THE GIRLS AT ALLSORTS

Good morning all, today is the start of our new challenge at
the theme chosen is
ONE FOR THE GIRLS
the prizes available to be one are a Tattered Lace Die and a Woodware Stamp.

My DT card below is a festive one I have used one of my Bildmalarna Stamps coloured with Copics.
The papers are from my Bearly Mine CD (no longer available) both the image and the frame have been cut using dies, I added a die cut gold snowflake a sentiment and some gems.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

My second card I have just finished making using a new digi from Pink Gem Designs called Winter Willow, I have coloured her with a mix of markers the papers are from my CD, I have added glitter card for mounting and for some of the punched snowflakes I have also added some Diamond Stickles
I would like to enter this card into the challenges at

Many, many thanks for your lovely comments on my previous post the are so much appreciated.

My mum and brother are having their flu jobs next Friday and their Covid booster jabs 2 weeks later.
I am not impressed with this but I am not sure the receptionists will accept my call after I lost my temper with them last week. I might even be 'blacklisted', what made me so angry was that the receptionist I was talking to suggested that I 'bundle my mum and brother into my car and take them to a drive through clinic the other side of town', I am afraid I could not believe what they said, I insisted that I speak to a Doctor or the Office Manager, I was told that someone would ring me back, believe it or not I never received any calls, I cannot put into words what I think or feel, I suppose I should be 'grateful' that they finally contacted my brother to advise him when they were finally coming.
They are both ok at the moment and I am off to see them now so I hope to be able to visit you all a little later.
take care and stay safe
hugs
lolo x

2 Beautiful cards as always Lorraine. Your colouring is fabulous .. I have so lost confidence in mine, and I love your embellishments, particularly the gold snowflake. Glad your mum and brother have their jabs booked in, but 2 weeks ahead for the COVID booster .. for a 102 year old woman … seriously ??? Or bundle her into a car and take her across town to mingle in a walk in with all and sundry??? I’m not surprised you lost your temper .. you are obviously trying to protect your family and seemingly banging your head against a wall. Have you tried ringing 119 to see if they can book the jab in any sooner? Based in the litany if problems can’t you report your GP to the local CCG or something. You really have had a lot to put up with. Take care

It doesn't get any better by the sounds of it Lorraine, I get so fed up with the waiting to be answered that I invariably send an e.mail and this actually seems to provoke a call back.

That little girl in your first card looks like she has a secret she is bursting to tell when she hands over her bunch of flowers. Both cards are delightful.

Two gorgeous cards Lorraine, I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with the doctors surgery know what that is like I was sent 15 miles away from where I live to have my covid jab when my hubby only went 5 miles away. Stupid really. But glad to hear your mum and brother are being sorted. Love Alison

Both gorgeous cards and beautifully coloured cute images love all the snowflakes.
The situation with the Dr is getting quite ridiculous-I would have thought your Mum would have been among the first for the covid jab? Have seen a few were they were advised not to have them both together because of reactions though

Two really gorgeous creations sweetie. Your colouring of the images is awesome. So sorry that you are having such problems at your surgery. I have problems with mine, the pharmacy that I get my prescriptions from tells me that I am registered with the worse doctor's in the area!! Yours don't seem to have a brain cell amongst them, making a poorly health man and a very elderly lady wait for the booster and to suggest you take them both amongst people where they might pick up goodness knows what.

You are so clever at putting your designs together with just the right paper and background. Your images are coloured beautifully, as usual. I am so glad your mother and brother finally have appointments, but I share your concern that it has taken so long when they are so vulnerable xx

Oh Lorraine, when will it all end.How absolutely cold blooded can you be.What a horrible person to say that to you about your mum and brother. Some people just make me lost for words.I do hope they will be ok when they eventually receive their jabs.So much stress for you my friend.I am thinking of you.Sending Huge Huggles.xx Oh yes, your cards as always are Stunning in every way.I adore the images and colouring and all the gorgeous elements.xx

Hi Lorraine, firstly I have to apologise for being erratic with posting - life gets in the way sometimes and I get behind but I do get around to everyone eventually!

Secondly your cards are gorgeous - both of them equally stunning, but I have to admit my eye is drawn to the second card. Blue being one of my favourite colours and I love the image, it's so cute!

Finally, am so sorry to hear your GP's is being a pain, good news that your mum and brother's jabs are being done but not good the lengths you had to go to get them. Is there another GP's in the area that you could change to, that would offer a more understanding service?
