CHRISTMAS TIME

Good morning all, today I have two DT cards to share with you and enter into some challenges.
My first DT card is for
The theme is
CHRISTMAS
There are some lovely prizes to be won just pop over to the Challenge Blog as I am unable to upload them for some reason.
For my card I have used a stamp From Woodware they are a big favourite of mine as the quality of their stamps is top notch.
I used a 6" x 6" scalloped card base, I cut the front off at an angle, the papers are actually card stock, I used a frame die for the backing of the stamp which is quite big and comes with the sentiment, I coloured the image with markers then cut it out and adhered it 3d style with silicone glue. I also added a small due cut bow.

I would like to enter this card into th following challenges:

My second DT card is for the new challenge at
the theme is
CHRISTMAS
I have used a digital image from my files it is many years old and I believe I got it from Cuddly Buddly
I coloured the image with markers the papers are from my stash, I added a red mirri card bauble and a couple of gold punched snowflakes.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

I do hope that you will come join us at both
WE LOVE STAMPING
&
DRAGONFLY DREAMS
we would love to see you I can also recommend visiting the other DT as their work is outstanding as always

I want to thank you all for your comments on my previous post I really appreciate you all taking time out to visit and the comments I received showed me that I am not alone in the struggle with the current situation with the medical profession.
I have thought so much about how I can try to get things changed but unfortunately I don't think there is anything I can do except badger the Doctors for an improved service for both my brother and my dearest mum.
Since the episode last week I am feeling quite low I think that I had forgotten how vulnerable my mum is, I have buried my head in the sand thinking that she is going to be with me forever, I know that sometimes I live in a fantasy world, but with my constant fight with depression it is a world much more loving and peaceful than the real one.
Hugs to all, stay safe I will see you all soon, I am off to mums to cook the Sunday lunch, we are having Chicken today something that my Jess will enjoy, lol.
hugs
Lolo xx

Your WLS card is so very bright and seasonal, the Holly coloured beautifully against the bold red bow. Your second card is also very sweet.

Keep you chin up Lorraine, it's tough caring for our elderly parents, I did the same with my dear Dad. I still miss him dearly but also look on the happy times and know he continues to be my crafty inspiration as he taught me to love all things Nature especially animals and flowers.

Thanks for sharing the lovely card with us at Stamping Sensations. Have a lovely Sunday lunch and I can visualise Jess patiently waiting for those scraps that might accidentally fall off the table.

Hi Lorraine, your image is super cute, coloured so prettily, and I love the mirri card bauble. Makes it look properly Christmassy with the shine / reflection of the card.

Am very sorry to hear about the troubles you've had with your GP surgery, am afraid I don't have anything that I can add. Thankfully we have very little need of them for my family and I hope it stays that way. I think although individually medics, on the whole, are wonderful people the system has been so under invested in that it's now impacting on people's lives and without more money being spent, carefully on things that are needed not wasted on new systems to replace those that don't need replacing, it's going to be chaos in the years coming.

I do hope your mum feels better soon and you all have a wonderful lunch.

Best wishes,
Sarah

Both are so beautiful, Lorraine! Love the scalloped edges on the cards. I have a few cuddly buddly images as well but sadly not used in a long while as I've not been using too many digis (my printer ink just likes to smear now unless I wait forever for them to dry so it's become a hassle!) But they are so cute and maybe I need to print some off to have on hand!

Two gorgeous cards Lorraine! I especially like the first with that beautiful holly stamp - you've coloured it perfectly and I love the black background you gave it which makes it really pop.

I'm so sorry to hear that you're having such a terrible time getting proper help for your brother and your mum. No you are definitely not alone and sometimes I wonder what has happened to basic human decency. Sending hugs to you. Vicky x

Two really gorgeous creations Lorraine. Yes I agree the medical profession and services are at an all time low, especially for the elderly.

I keep trying to find time to craft for myself but November and December are a very busy time in the Salvation Army, we go round so many nursing homes singing, we also have a list of deprived families every year for food parcels and toys for the children to make up and give out. The food parcels have been a big thing all through Covid. Keeps us busy!

Two excellent Christmas cards today. I particularly like the first one with all that lovely holly and the added interest you have created with the cut off card front. Very clever. I do hope things become more positive for you soon and rest assured that your cards always bring a smile. I hope that the process of making them brings you joy too xx
