CANDY STAR TED

Hi all, tonight I have a card to share with you and enter into some challenges.
I have used one of Di's Digital Stamps called
I coloured him with a mix of Nuvo and Copic markers I added a die cut Poinsettia and leaves, Liquid pearls, punched snowflakes and twine the papers are Bearly Mine I am using one of my favourite colour combo's Brown and Blue

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
CREATALICIOUS - A/GOES
CRAFTY CATZ - A/GOES OPTION 2 PLUS DP
DIGI DESIGN CHALLENGE - FAVOURITE COLOUR COMBO

I have been at my mums all day today as usual, I am a little upset once again.  My mum has her medication delivered once a week on a Thursday, she has a Dosset Box?, when I went over on Friday my brother said that they had not delivered it, he had rang the chemist and got no reply from so left a message., nothing happened.  Today he told me that her medication still had not come, so the outcome is my mum has been very agitated and hallucinating which is a cause for concern.  I contacted the pharmacy and after 6 mins waiting for them to answer I was told they would be delivered on Monday I was not happy and I know they could sense it.
I really feel that there is something wrong somewhere and unfortunately it is beginning to get to me and stress me out.

My mum and brother have no one to look out for them except me, that is not bragging but a fact I am there for them 99% of the time and so happy to do it but my brother is not very mobile due to his legs and of course mum being 101 doesn't know what is going on.  I will move heaven and earth to make sure that they get what they need but I feel that sometimes I am banging my head against a brick wall.
Stay safe everyone
Hugs

2 beautiful cards Lorraine. Sorry to hear you are having these problems … I’m not surprised you’re stressed. That is totally unacceptable service from the chemist .. they have a duty of care to their customers and medication can be a life or death thing .. I’d tell them in no uncertain terms they need to pull their socks up.Take care x

Oh, this is adorable!! Love that cute bear, your colouring is awesome and all the details look just delightful! Beautiful colours combo!
It seems that it's a difficult moment to have the right cares from hospitals and pharmacies, doctors have no more interest for people's health if it isn't covid-related! So sad and scary. Hope that your mum and brother could have all they need quickly. Hugs

Oh,Lorraine I am so sorry you are having more stress to deal with.It sounds like you truly love your family so much, but you are only human after all.It must so upsetting and equally frustrating when these things happen.Do they not put themselves in your shoes.Your poor mum bless her heart.Do hope she gets her meds and will improve.I do hope your brother is getting some help especially with his pain too.
Of course, your card is absolutely beautiful in every way,and the colour combo is so pretty. It does help doesn't it if you can craft ( if you can concentrate tho ) to help with the stress.Love n Hugs xx

Your card is a beauty Lorraine, such a lovely design and the sweet image is so beautifully coloured, the little bear looks so fluffy and cuddly, really love the colours too- my favourite combo!
I can totally understand your anger and frustration over the non delivery of your mum's medication. I sometimes wonder if the 'caring' professionals (and I include the pharmacies) have any idea of how upsetting and worrying it is when patients are relying on deliveries and they don't turn up. Many times we had to chase up my Mum's morphine- either the pharmacy didn't send it or the prescription wasn't released by the GP's surgery. All sorts of promises and apologies were made but it didn't stop it happening again and again. I hope the delivery turns up tomorrow and your Mum is ok.

A beautiful card Lorraine, an adorable image and lovely colour choices - so pretty.
It sounds like not much is going right for your family at the moment, can you not contact someone at adult services and get some more help, from experience I know you will have to really push for it but it might be worth it in the end.

Adorable little bear on your gorgeous card, Lorraine.
That's too bad that your mum's medicine were not delivered. I take care for my mother too (94 years old), so I completely understand how you must feel.
Hope it will never happen again!

I do sympathise with you Lorraine, this is just my personal opinion of course, but I feel some elements of the medical world are letting us down badly. Covid has been blamed for so much, but why are GP's not seeing patients face to face still, why are there delays with meds, oh grief I could go on.

I came off the phone not half an hour ago chasing my injections, they are delivered to me by refrigerated van from the drug company. Last month they were late, hence my injection dates went out of the window, next delivery should have been here by today and the prescription has not even been processed yet. What's more when I asked how long they said they couldn't give me a timeframe. Now I have to ring the consultant as she is the only one who can chase the drug company and so it goes on.

Apart from that I will simmer down and say what a beautiful card.

Your card is very pretty and so so cute Lorraine. I adore your colour palette.

I am so sorry you are all having all this trouble with Mum's medication delivery. I hope your doctor is dependable? I know what you are going through sweetheart and it is hard to cope with it all. I am unfortunate to have a useless doctor's surgery and a useless chemist. It is hard to know which one to blame when things go wrong which is frequent. It is a big worry for you with both of them depending on you. I hope things improve for you soon sweetie.

i love how you have made this card without using traditional Christmas colours, brilliant. Life seems to be so frustrating these days with so much time spent trying to sort things out that shouldn't need to be sorted out if things just worked as they are supposed to. I do hope the medication issues are sorted out now xx
