MIXED BAG

 Good morning all

Today I have not one but 3 DT cards to share with you

My first one is for our new challenge at

ALLSORTS

the theme was chosen by me and is

ANYTHING WINTER

I have used a mini kit from Pink Gems called 

WINTR CHLOE

I cut out elements and 3d'd them including the image.

I would like to enter this card into the challenges at

My second card is a reminder for our current challenge at

WE LOVE STAMPING

the theme is

ANYTHING GOES with the option of CAS

I have used a stamp that I have had for some time from

Lily of The Valley of course it is James the bear

I stamped and coloured him with Copic markers, I used my scalloped dies to cut him and the gold mirri card then put him on a scalloped base card I then added a red triple bow and a sentiment.

The image I have used is called

FEELING SPOILT

I coloured her with Copic markers the papers are Nitwits, I added a stamped sentiment and some punched butterflies.

I do have some more festive cards to share with you all that I have made over the weeks but I have to go to mums today so I will share them at a later date

O CHRISTMAS TREE

 Hi all, I would like to share my Kerst Christmas DT card with you and enter a few challenges:

This challenge can be found on Facebook Here  the theme is 

Anything Goes with the option of Snow

For my card I have used papers from WE ARE 3 which is one of the prizes that can be won.

I used my MCS programme to insert the greeting which is also available at We Are 3, I also used the digital punch in the programme to cut out the frame that I stamped one of my beloved Tilda's in, I coloured her with Copic markers, I added sparkle, punched and die cut snowflakes.

The other prize that can be won is a beautiful die

WINGS AND OR TAILS PLUS A LITTLE CANDLE LIGHT

 Hi all, today is the start of our new challenge at 

ALLSORTS

the prizes that can be won are from one of my favourite stamp companies

For my DT card I have used an old wood mounted stamp not sure where I got it from or whose it is but I have had it for many years.

I stamped the image with Versafine Onyx then actually water coloured it using Tim Holtz distressed inks I am afraid it looks a little insipid on here but in real life it is quite lovely

I stenciled the background added punched snowflakes, stamped sentiment and a bow

For my second card I used another stamp that has not seen the light of day for some years, it is one from Elizabeth Bell I think it is called Candle Light

I stamped her and coloured her with Copics, then cut out the image with a shaped die, I also used die cut stars and punched snowflakes, the papers are from my stash

Sorry I have not been around these last few days, on Thursday my brother and I found out that the current care company has cancelled my mums care package, a gentleman visited us that day to aske numerous questions to try and put a new package in for Monday.

Fortunately he arrived while the two carers and the OT were with mum so he could get some information from them, unfortunately there were more people around than normal and mum got worried and agitated.

Not knowing how things are going to work out and any new team will need our guidance to start with, I may be MIA on and off, I had great sadness to drop 3 of the DT teams I served on they have been so kind and understanding, I am going to fit my crafting in but I do not want to let anyone down by promising that I can complete a project then fail.

A little bit of good news is that mum and brother are finally having their COVID boosters on Monday.

Things are not good at the moment there seems to be so much stress around and I am not a fan of the festive season I am hoping that I can keep on top of my depression as I need to stay strong for my mum and bro.

I want to thank everyone for popping by and supporting me even when I am not around, I normally like to repay your kindness I will endeavor to do some visiting a little late until the please take care and stay safe

Hi all, today is the time to show off the new releases from

I was given this little cutie to work with it is called

I coloured him with a mix of markers, the papers are from my stash I cut out the 'bauble' circles with my cutter and added some punched snowflakes and added a stamped sentiment.

DRAGONFLY DREAMS AND MORE

 Good morning, today I have a few cards to share with you the first one is for our

ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE

The main post did not go live has planned yesterday so the teams are posting their cards today, well at least I am, 

I made a Star Card the topper and patterned papers/card stock are Debbie Moore Designs I used an 8" x 8" base card I have added black lace punched butterfly and some pearls.

My next card is one I made last week I had printed off some of my Bearly Mine papers in purple, I found this digi image that I had printed off several weeks ago and thought that I would colour her up using purples, I used my circle cutter and added a silk double bow, I didn't feel that this card needed any extra embellishments as I wanted the papers to be more visible,

My third and final card for today features a digi image that I have had for many years called Winter Delivery, I found it in a folder unmarked so if anyone knows which company it came from please let me know I think it might be Chrissy Armstrong, I coloured the image with a mix of markers, the papers are a mix of Nitwits and something else, I cut the bauble circles out with my circle cutter, I added a die cut snowflake and some punched snowflakes the sentiment is an old wooden mounted stamp from years ago, once again I cut the wave freehand with a craft knife.

WE LOVE STAMPING

 Good morning, today is the start of our new challenge at 

WE LOVE STAMPING 

the theme is 

ANYTHING GOES WITH THE OPTION OF CAS

I decided to go for the CAS option

not often I make this type of card but I just had the vision in my mind and the stamp to go with it

I used my Spellbinders 3D Poinsettia stamp that I have had for some years, I used my Onyx Versafine ink pad I added a little glitter to the centre, then used my scalloped circle die cuts the red card is glitter card, I added a sentiment and some red and white twine.

 Good morning, today is the start of our new challenge at

For my DT card I have used a pre-coloured image from Hobby House, I used a stepper card, bow and numerous dies, silver snowflake, Poinsettia's in Silver mirri card and a circle die for the background of the image, unfortunately I made an error when editing my card for the challenge blog, I inserted the wrong DT badge I apologise most sincerely, I have managed to edit my card here but not sure of I can do it on the challenge blog. I feel so bad about it but I still hope that you like my card and do join us in our challenge this week as I know that Dies are a top favourite with so many crafters these days.

 Hi all, I made this card a few days ago it is one of several that I managed to complete I hope to be able to share the rest with you within the next few days.

NORTH POLE GNOME

 Hi all, today I have another festive card to share and enter into some challenges.

Last week my son invited me out for lunch with Reuben of course I accepted as I so wanted to see my baby Grandson, we had a wonderful lunch I thought I would share a picture of myself and Reuben this is a rarity for me as I hate having my picture taken let alone letting anyone see it, but I have made an exception on this occasion 

He is such a beautiful boy with a lovely smile and dimples, lol.

 Good morning, I apologise for being late posting my DT card but it was such a bad night that when I managed to fall asleep it was the nearly light and then I overslept.

Many, many thanks for your lovely comments on my previous post the are so much appreciated.

My mum and brother are having their flu jobs next Friday and their Covid booster jabs 2 weeks later.

I am not impressed with this but I am not sure the receptionists will accept my call after I lost my temper with them last week. I might even be 'blacklisted', what made me so angry was that the receptionist I was talking to suggested that I 'bundle my mum and brother into my car and take them to a drive through clinic the other side of town', I am afraid I could not believe what they said, I insisted that I speak to a Doctor or the Office Manager, I was told that someone would ring me back, believe it or not I never received any calls, I cannot put into words what I think or feel, I suppose I should be 'grateful' that they finally contacted my brother to advise him when they were finally coming.

They are both ok at the moment and I am off to see them now so I hope to be able to visit you all a little later.

POPPY LOVE & WESTIE CHRISTMAS

 Good morning all, firstly may I thank you with all my heart for the birthday wishes that you sent my mum, she had a lovely day.

Today I would like to share two cards with you the first is my Ching Chou Kuik FB DT card I have used the image POPPY LOVE the theme this month is Thank You, Thinking of You and remembrance, this week the DT were challenged to make a Shabby Chic card I hope that this passes.

I coloured the image with a mix of markers the papers are from my stash and I distressed the edges, I added a vintage style ribbon, lace, liquid pearls  and flower.

My second card is a Christmas one I have used the image WESTIE CHRISTMAS from Di's Digital Store I have coloured him with a mix of markers, the papers are Anne-Marie, I cut some extra shapes and added twine, I distressed the edges with TH Vintage Photo Ink die cut flower and leaves and added a sentiment.

Once again many thanks for your comments both on Facebook and here I actually did  not see my mum yesterday, I had had a dispute with the doctors receptionist the previous day and it upset me so much I was in tears for most of yesterday, I knew that most of the family would be seeing her and I am off to see her today.

I am taking a break from my Ching Chou Kuik DT duties as I feel I need more time to spend with mum, the scare we had a couple of weeks ago really shook me up and made me wake up to the fact just how old and vulnerable she is I have always thought that she would be with me forever.
