Hi all today my card features a digital image that I ,unfortunately, don't know whose it is so if you if she looks familiar to you please let me know.
She has the iconic retro 'Beehive' hairdo that I remember so well all that back combing, all the girl singers seemed to have the style I think the one I remember most for the back combed hair is Dusty Springfield I wonder who you might remember, that's if you were around then, lol.
I coloured her with Spectrum and Nuvo markers the papers are from my stash I added a stamped ticket sentiment and some die cut flowers, pearls and punched butterflies.
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Many thanks for popping by

Lovely retro inspired design Lorraine, love the colours and flower shape. The image is beautiful and superbly coloured...could be Lemon Shortbread? I well remember Dusty Springfield and the backcombed hair, those were the days! Never sported the hairdos- I was a bit too young for that but oh, the music we enjoyed! xx
Gorgeous image and the retro beehive hair design love how you presented your card xx
What a sweet birthday card with the flowers and butterflies and I too love that hairstyle. I remember Dusty well and I can still hear her singing Son of a Preacher Man!
Excellent image and coloring, love all the embellishments, they go so well with the retro feel to your card. Thanks for playing along with us at the Paper Funday Challenge and at the Alphabet Challenge!
Lovely card, Lorraine. She looks great in green, and her hair is very Dusty Springfield, Jo x

gorgeous image and colored on a beautiful card Lorraine.......gr karin
I remember that hairstyle, I had it too when I was a teenager :D but I think was a refresh of the trend, because I was born in the early 60s.
However, the girl on your card is so beautiful and has cat eyes :) Amazing colouring especially on the hair, and the whole design is fabulous!
Gorgeous colouring of that retro girl and yes I remember Dusty Springfield with her backcombed hair. Loved her music.

It is nice to have a little trip down memory lane now and again. Love the flowers and butterflies on this one xx
She definitely reminds me of the Groovy 60's or early 70's. I remember those long floral scarfs worn in the hair were all the rage. Fun card, Thanks for joining us at The Inspiration Station Challenge and please share again soon.

Love this image and your card Lorraine, yes I had a beehive and use to wrap my hair with toilet paper with a chiffon hat on when going to bed. 🤣

A great card - that hair-do - I must admit to a little back combing still - just a little....! Amy Winehouse is my most remembered queen of back-combing.... Thank you for joining us at The Alphabet Challenge xx Lynda/Loopyloo DT
