Today is my beloved mum's birthday although she is no longer with us I have made her a gift for both her birthday and Christmas, I also made a wreath that I laid on her and dad's grave yesterday
I found a large MDF heart on stand that I found in my drawer I die cut many flowers including a Poinsettia in Rose Gold I added gold stars the bottom of the heart I laid some moss, sparkle berries, flowers, Flower Soft Snow and lots of silver sparkle shards finally I added one of my beloved Christmas Tilda's I coloured her with markers and cut her out I thinks she sits very nicely on the heart.

OMG, what are you doing to me Lorraine, you made me cry and I don't cry..what a beautiful project for your mum, just gorgeous and next to your mums photo, and I love the wreath so beautiful all full of texture, love the yellow, and now I have a headache from trying not to cry..lots of love..

The wreath is a lovely tribute to your parents Lorraine and the heart you made for your Mum is beautiful. I know it's a sad day for you but try to remember the happy times and tell yourself how very lucky you were to have your wonderful Mum and her love and support for so long...I know it helps me when I'm missing my Mum.

Both your tributes for your Mum (and Dad) are so beautiful and full of love. The MDF heart is really sweet! The trellis with stars and flowers, the Tilda that seems crying and the bed of roses... all speaks a lot of you... A very thoughtful and lovely creation. The wreath is fabulous too.
I'm sure your Mum looks at you, love you and want you smiling and being serene.
