Hi, today we have a reminder of our current challenge at

For my DT card, I have used a stamp I bought several months ago but have never used I stamped with Versafine Onyx ink and coloured her with a mix of markers the sentiment also comes with the main stamp. I used pink and black cards for matting and layering I also added some of my mum's black lace and a few embellishments.

I am getting rather anxious as my mum's ashes will finally be buried in my dad's grave on Friday, it has been a long wait but the headstone had to be taken away, and find the written proof that my mum had actually bought the grave when dad passed, it has now all been sorted so it will only be her children and a few grandchildren that will be attending the 'funeral' I know that mum is already with dad but now her ashes are being buried it will feel that she is finally where she should be, however upsetting that is, it seems right
I want to thank so many of you for your kindness, understanding, and support during this traumatic time you have been wonderful and it has really touched my heart. I can't pretend it is going to get any easier quickly but maybe one day I will find some peace.

Stunning card Lorraine love the gorgeous image and fabulous colouring,beautiful lace border.Will be thinking of you Friday -it's weird it does get easier then ---my Dad died 12yrs ago and still can't listen to the music we played at his funeral-you kind of live with it -then wham-I don't watch TV but watched Derry Girls last night and one of the girls Dad died-I ended up crying with her !!!

I’m sorry for the stupid bureaucracy that has surely created you still anxiety and sad thoughts, but I hope you can find a bit of peace now that everything is resolved and you’ve done what is right and what your Mom desires.
Your card looks just amazing, such fabulous stamp and colouring!!! Your Mum's lace is a perfect embellishment! Love the shadows you added, they give beautiful dimensions!

What a stunning card design Lorraine! Really love your coloring on this image and how you've finished your card details! So pretty! Happy that your mum's ashes will be with your dad and placed in her final spot for resting. The closure is hard getting through and glad that you're able to find comfort in others during this.
