Flutter By Wednesday

Hi all hope you are doing well and ready to see in the New Year.  This is my card for this week's Flutter By Wednesday Challenge which is an 'open' theme this week.  I have used another new Digi Image from Bizzy Becs and coloured her with Copics.  The frame is a new one that I received this morning and is the Nellie's round frame that I used with the Big Shot like Nestie's.  I am not sure if I did it right so any advice would be more than welcome lol.  I added a flower from my stash the bp is also from my stash and I think it is Kanban but not certain on that.  I hope you like it.

This is my card that I have done using sketch 9 from TGF I have used the Unicorn image again but coloured it in totally different colours with a bit more of a fantasy theme to it.

New Years Card - Cheers

My brother asked if I would make him some New Year Cards and here is one of them which I thought you might like to see.  I have used a new Digi Image from Bizzy Becs and he is called Tom, the tag is also included in the download.  I have used blue mirror card added some stars with a blue gem in the middle and the image has been coloured with Copics I hope you like it hugs to all and see you later.

Four Cards-One Post and Some Great News

Hello everyone I thought I would post four cards in one posting to make it easier for you to have a look.  This card is the first of the four and is for the TGF 12 Days of Christmas Challenge I am about to go and post them in their galleria.  I felt I would go dramatic with this one and used mainly red and black.  The image is Autumn Fairy from TGF I have used black and red card the red I have done some embossing on.  I added one of my flowers that I have had for yonks and really wanted to use them hence the colour combo.  The wide ribbon is like damask and I also added a small thin red satin ribbon finally used a sentiment from Cuddly Buddly. NO 1 - TGF SKETCH

NO 2 - TGF Sketch and MAGICAL CRAFTS FORTNIGHTLY CHALLENGE

This is the second card in this post and is for the TGF 12 days of Christmas Challenge and also for Magical Crafts Fortnightly Challenge the theme being ';Thank You'.  I have used another Digital Image from TGF and she has been coloured with Copics I have added some organza ribbon, pearls a flower and gem.

NO 3 - ANYONE FOR ANYA

This card I made using the sketch for this weeks challenge at Anyone For Anya and I have used a Digital Image from TGF called Autumn Anya.  I have coloured her with Copics and mounted her with Silicone for a raised effect.  I have added some ribbon and flowers.

NO 4 - CRAFTS FOR ETERNITY

This is a card I have made for the challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity which is based not only on a sketch but also a recipe of Follow the Sketch, Use a Song Title and Include a Tag.  I decided on the song title Love Story because I felt this cute bunny is in love and is telling a story (just look at those eyes).  The image is from a new company to me called Sew Many Cards and the Digital Images are just gorgeous, this one is called Jovi and I have coloured her with Copics.  The bp are a mix I added some flowers and a tag I hope you like all these today. GOOD NEWS

Well I wanted to share some really good news with you this morning and that is I have been chosen by Roberta as one of her new DT members at the Prairie Fairy.  I am so thrilled and awed that my work is good enough and I am so looking forward to working with yet some more wonderful and talented crafters. Roberta will be launching her new Digital shop soon and it is going to be a wowzer so please keep an eye open for not only some fabulous images but a new challenge blog.

Kaboodle DT Card

12 Days of Christmas- Days 2 and 3

Hi all before I start on the cards I would like to say a very big thank you for all the Christmas wishes I have received it makes my heart fill with warmth and joy.  I wish all my followers/visitors a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  I know some of you will not be around over the holiday period but I will still be visiting and commenting.

Ok the two cards are made using TGF sketches 2 and 3 I have uploaded them to their galleria so if you want to have a look not just at mine but a whole host of other crafters then just click on the TGF link.

Digital Tuesday DT Card-Challenge 38

Hi everyone hope you are all prepared for the Christmas festivities and maybe if you are still up for a challenge then please come join us at Digital Tuesday the theme this week being 'Let it Snow' and while I am writing this I have my Christmas music on and guess what is playing........yep 'Let it Snow' lol.

This week our sponser is none other than Dustin Pike who has some fabulous images and the winner will be able to choose three from a very wide variety of Digi Images.

For my card I again decided to go blue and have used a freebie Digital Image from our lovely Stef aka Glitterbabe.  I love this image and have mounted it on circle nestie's the backing paper is Bearlymine and I have added some blue mirror card.  I have also used circles to highlight the flower which has a brad and spacer and some leaves I added some lovely blue ribbon and a charm and just to highlight the mirror card added some white flower peel off's.  I like this one and hope you do as well.  Hugs and Happy Holidays to you all Lorraine x

Flutter by Wednesday

Hi all this is my second posting of the evening and is a card I have made for this weeks Flutter By Wednesday based on the sketch.  I have used a Digital Image from TGF called Autumn Fairy and went with a green colour scheme.  The base paper is actually quite thick glitter paper the strips are green mirror card which I passed through my Big Shot using the Swiss Dots cuttle bug folder.  I added a few star buttons some Cosmic Shimmer Silver Twinkles and finally added a flower and for a change used some material Ivy Leaves. Happy New Year

Evening all, thought you might like to see my card that I have completed with Sketch 1 at the Greetings Farm 12 days of Christmas I have two more sketches to go.  I have just uploaded it to the gallery on their forum. Crafty Ann's Challenge DT Card

Today see's a new challenge at Crafty Ann's and the theme is Non Traditional Colours.  I decided to use Pink and Purple and I love it, wonder if you will?  The base paper is handmade that I have had in my stash for what seems like forever this also applies to the pink snowflake card, in fact it brings back memories of when I was at work and used to pay a daily visit to a tiny little craft shop and picked up quite a few items, anyway I diversify so back to my card.  The image and frame are both from Crafty Ann's own Digi Shop and I had so much fun with these.  They all come seperate but using my MCS I placed the two snowmen in the frame then printed.  I coloured with pro markers and stamped the sentiment.  I hope you do like it and come join us at Crafty Ann's Challenge, which is every two weeks. Sketch and Stash

This is my second posting for today and I am so pleased that I am back into the challenges again.  This is my entry for the Sketch and Stash Challenge.  This is the first Santa Claus Digi Image I have which I got from Digital Ink Co.  I am shocked at myself for not having any Santa stamps in either rubber or digi I must try and remedy that for next year.  I have used Papermania bp the side piece I have used a MS punch, the image I coloured with Copics and added red ribbon and a couple of Flora Doodles

Two in One

Hi all this is my entry for two challenges the first being Pollycraft Monday Challenge which is based on the sketch and Stampin for The weekend the them being to use Blue and Brown which is one of my favourite colour combo's.  I have used Bearlymine bp with some blue mirror card the image is Pollycraft the sentiment is stamped I have added some brown ribbon.  I hope you like it hugs to all.

One Post, 4 Cards, 10 Challenges

Hi all today I have finally come up with four cards to enter into challenges I hope you will have a gander at them and let me know what you think.  This is the first of the four, I have used the same image for all four cards as they are for someone to give to their friends who deliver post, I thought the image was very apt.

I have used SU papers, white grosgrain ribbon and a couple of flowers the sketch is Creative Inspirations but on checking the blog I am one day late awww. I have also added glitter to the acorns and the bell on the hat, I have used pearls for the snow.

The card below is one I am entering into the above three challenges the first is the Mercy Sketch the second is Allsorts themed Pearls and Swirls and Charisma Cardz is a Colour Combo of Red/Green/Silver/White.  I have coloured the Mo Manning image with pro markers the papers are K & Co the swirls I have highlighted with pearls.

Sketch and Stash Challenge

This card below is my entry for the Sketch and Stash Challenge and for this one I have used the squirrel image mounted onto different coloured card added three gems the bp is papermania and the ribbon I have had forever and just found it by accident.

Sweet Stop Sketch/CCC-Gold/Silver

This is my fourth card which I am entering into two Challenges the fist is The Sweet Stop which is the sketch and the second is the Creative Card Crew the theme being Gold/Silver.  I have used mirror card for this one and boy does it shine and reflect which gave me some difficulty when taking a photo.  I have used my favourite image from Mo Manning called Winter Delivery which I printed onto a beige coloured parchment paper.  I also added some ribbon and a flower.  I hope you like the selection.

Cute Daisy May DT Card-Gold and Green

Today is a new challenge at Cute Daisy May the theme this week is Gold and Green and is the last challenge until the New Year so I do hope you can join us.  I have used yet another little beauty coloured with Copics this time.  The little poodle is Apricot because my mum has always loved poodles and she always had Apricot coloured ones.  Alas she is to old to have another and she misses the company of a little pooch around.  I actually made this card for one of my brothers to give to her for Christmas.  I have used Papermania bp and gold mirror card which reflects so wonderfully I added a couple of gold snowflakes and a bow with bell.  I hope you like it and please come join us for the last challenge of 2009.  Hugs to all.

Kaboodle Doodle DT Card - Christmas Sparkle

Today is the start of a new challenge at Kaboodle Doodles and the theme is 'Christmas Sparkle' so if you are still making your Christmas cards (I am ) then why not enter our challenge.  This is my DT card and I have used a Cute Daisy May image I just can't resist this little beauty.  I have added gems and Cosmic Shimmer Twinkles I coloured the image with pro markers the papers are Dovecraft (I think) I punched out some small circles for the sentiment and added a silver tassel.  I hope you like and please come join us

Second Guest DT Card-Vintage

Hi all this is the second card I made as guest designer for Digital Two For Tuesday a Vintage Digital Stamp Challenge Blog, my first card is below.  This is totally different to the first one in colour and design as I decided to go blue.  I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed making these two with the images supplied and I hope you like them to and don't forget if you love Vintage then pop over to Digital Two For Tuesday.

Guest DT Cards-Vintage

Some while back and quite by accident I found a vintage digital image challenge blog called Digital Tuesday and they were asking for guest designers so I put my name down and today is the day that my cards are being show cased.    I was sent two images to work with and this is the first.  I coloured with pro markers but kept the choice of colours to a minimum and did not fuss about being to precise as I didn't think the image suited it.  I also decided to use a black backdrop with Cosmic Shimmer Twinkles and glitter corner peels offs, I also added white grosgrain ribbon and some faux baubles.

Digital Tuesday DT Card-Challenge 36

Morning everyone hope you are well.  Today is a new challenge at Digital Tuesday and it is my turn to host this week.  I have chosen the theme 'Christmas Songs',  My card shows an image from CDM and I have called it 'Frosty The Snowman'.  However, my head has been full of Christmas songs like Star of Wonder, Walking in Winter Wonderland, I saw mummy Kissing Santa Claus but Frosty won.

I coloured the image with Sakura Stardust Pens and mounted it on a nestie, the papers are Dovecraft (I think) the star I cut from my Cricut and added some Cosmic Shimmer Silver Twinkles.

Cute Daisy May-DT Card

Hi all well it is time for a new weekly challenge at Cute Daisy May and this weeks theme is 'Twinkle'.  I have used an image from sheet No: 100 and fell in love with her as soon as I saw her.  I had it in my mind to do something pink and for the first time in ages used my Copics.  I have used Bearlymine backing paper added some pink silk and white ribbon, a flower with added charms and the little tree is a freebie from Linnie.  Both the image and tree have been cut out and raised with silicone.  The fur around CDM's coat has been coloured with Sakura Silver Stardust and I added some Cosmic Silver Twinkles.  I am also entering this into this weeks Simon Says Challenge the theme being 'Charming'.
 I hope you like it and can't wait to see what you come up with.  Please remember a CDM image is not necessary but would be nice.

Bauble Delight DT card-Crafty Ann's Challenge

Hi all this is my first DT card for Crafty Ann's Challenge which is themed 'Texture' and starts today.  I enjoyed making this card and used papermannia bp and mirri card which I passed through my Big Shot using the swiss dots folder. The other baubles are from Crafty Ann which I have coloured with Sakura stardust and glaze pens.  The mirri card baubles I punched out using different sized circle punches all the baubles have glitter border peel off's giving the effect of them hanging.  I hope you like it and come join us at Crafty Ann's, see you all later hugs to all.

Cards For Men

Yippee I have finally managed to make a card for a challenge and this is it my entry for the Cards For Men 1st challenge the theme being Christmas.  I coloured the image with pro markers first but then decided to go all glittery with this young lady.  The paper is papermania I added some ribbon a sentiment and I cut the letter for Son from the Cricut.  I hope you like it hugs to all and see you soon.

Good morning al,l this is a bit late but it is my DT card for this weeks Digital Tuesday Challenge the theme being 'Christmas Sparkle'.  I have used one of my favourite Mo Manning images called Winter Delivery.  I have coloured the image with pro markers then glittered the hat and leaves and added some Cosmic Shimmer silver twinkles also a few gems.  The bp are papermannia I added an organza ribbon and sentiment.  I hope you like it and will join us for this weeks challenge.  Hugs to all see you later.

CUTE DAISY MAY BLOG HOP/CHALLENGE

Good Intentions

Hi all hope you are well and a belated happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends.

Well I was full of good intentions this week but have failed.  I have not been able to get on with much card making as my mojo is still missing and I don't know why I just cannot get on with this new laptop yet, but it's early days.  My mum has also been staying with me since last Friday while my sister has gone on holiday.  Mum is still getting over a heart operation and her confidence is quite low and is taking a lot of looking after so I have not been able to devote the time to get on with blogging.

I have, however, managed to create this card with a free image from The Stamping Boutique Forum and I must say I love it.  Hope you like it as well big hugs to all.

Cute Daisy May-Red Christmas DT Card

Hi all this is my first card posting for awhile and is my DT card for this week's challenge at Cute Daisy May the theme being Red Christmas and I hope you will all be able to join in.  I have used papermania backing paper a Cute Daisy May Image coloured with pro markers then Crystal Lacquer the image has been cut out using a nestie and distressed around the edges. Hi ....I'm Back

I am back in the land of blog as of now......have you missed me?  I have finally received a replacement computer and have spent most of the afternoon getting aquainted with the new Windows Seven and locating my blog and other items.  I have as yet to put all my pictures etc on but I have missed you all so very much and just wanted to say hi.  I only picked up my replacement this morning so I have tons of work to do and try and see if I can find my mojo. New Challenge Blog

Thank You but also apologies

Good evening everyone I am back but not sure for how long.  Last Thursday I had an accident and my laptop and I fell down the stairs.  My laptop was badly damaged and I hurt my back and a few other places, lots of bumps and bruises but no serious damage.  Today my son picked up my laptop but it will have to go back as the disk drive does not work and the lid will not close so I am far from impressed with the repairs that were carried out.

I am slowly going through the numerous e-mails I have received and I thank you so much for your lovely comments and kind concern.  I have to make apologies for not meeting my DT commitments as I have been unable to make any cards for posting.

I think I am still in a state of shock although nothing like the evening that the accident happened and I just thank the Lord that I did not suffer any broken bones.  I have felt at a loss this last week not being able to communicate with all my friends so my depression has been having a field day and at this moment in time all I want to do is cry.  However, reading your lovely comments has helped me so much I am so grateful for you all.

I will be back shortly as I think I have several things to post but I think I need to take it slowly.  I apologise with all my heart for not being able to catch up on all the lovely work I have missed but I will be paying a visit to you all and will probably be on here until the early hours.  I am sending my love and big hugs to you all.

Suspended Animation x 2

Well I thought I would give you another viewing of an acetate card that I finished a few days ago but had to wait for my camera battery to charge before I could take this picture.  I am also going to enter this one into Daring Card Makers Challenge.  This time I stamped a holly image onto the acetate in white stazon and added some red liquid pearls for the berries.  I added some ribbon and a mount of nesties for these gorgeous cats to be displayed on.  This is another image from Mo Manning and coloured with pro markers I added a little copper stickles to the cats collar and some more holly leaves, on the inside I have copied the same nestie mounts and stamped 'Merry Christmas'.  I hope you are liking these cards and please if you can check out my other two that I have posted today.  Hugs to all see you later
