GOING GREEN

Today my card features the image Gypsy Flower from Moondrea I have coloured her with Spectrum Noir markers the papers are from my stash I have used my circle dies to cut the paper and the green glitter card to layer up, I then added a stamped sentiment, bow, wooden heart, punched butterflies in the green glitter card I also added pearls and some flowers, this is an 8 x 8 scalloped card . I actually made this card several weeks ago and my brother has used it today to send to a friend.

I would like to enter this card into the challenges at:

I was/am apprehensive linking up and I was right to be so as the links are not working like they used to, once again I apologise for my lack of blogging but I am not up to scratch at the moment, I am letting things get me down, not that I mean to but it just happens now and again i.e. depression is something that I am unable to control even with medication it seems to have a mind of it's own after all these years I should be used to it but I am not.  My mum is in my mind and heart each day but lately I am getting overwhelmed with memories and emotion it has even crossed my mind to put my crafting on hold indefinitely, I will be playing catch up soon
hugs

It's a wonderful card, so sweet and romantic! Love the circles with the layer, they seems doilies and that big white bow with the wooden heart! Fabulous image and colouring!Love so much also the flowers and the daisies paper with those cute tiny butterflies accents!
I’m so sorry about your depression, Lorraine! I think seasonal changes affect the nervous system and this strange spring doesn’t help.
Try to distract yourself please! You might try to do something different, something that gives you satisfaction and new positive emotions.
Big hugs and lots of love

Your card is so pretty Lolo! I love the colors, the pretty ribbon treatment and the flowers you've added! I'm so sorry about your struggles you're dealing with. Remembering your loved one is a good thing to have memories of, but please make sure you're honoring your mum in a way that she would want you to be. Remember the happy moments and leave them as happy. Sending hugs to you friend.

Gorgeous monochrome card Lorraine, love the image, papers and beautiful embellishments.Sorry to hear you are feeling so down and do hope you don't give up crafting,I am finding it a great distraction even though I am not crafting as much-I do understand what you mean,I gave an absolute load of stuff to the local school for their craft club with the intention of giving, then I thought but what will I do just sit and dwell-do hope you find some peace of mind soon, take care.

Gorgeous card Lorraine, love the image and all your details are so lovely and I love the green..but I'm so sorry you are down, it is a hard road we walk but we have to walk it everyday, and if Mum is in your mind, it could mean she is with you, so think happy thoughts and memories that Mum would have enjoyed and have a good cry out loud, snot and all, as sometimes that helps, then laugh, laugh at nothing and then do what you think you need to do, put crafting aside if that's what you feel..take care and remember you have friends out here that love to see you everyday..

Such a lovely card with beautiful layers and details.
Sometimes a certain event will trigger memories and send us down a path of depression but I think crafting, which you enjoy, could be a way out of that dark place. It helps to focus the mind on happier things and the love of creating.
Take care,
Lorraine

Your card is just beautiful with that great colored image and how you added the circles, butterflies and flowers. I like that wooden heart accent too. My internet was intermittently down for most of yesterday morning which destroyed my good mood. This linking issue with blogger is nothing more than annoying after it worked flawlessly for so long, so I get hesitant about keeping up with this craft hobby as well. I understand how much you miss your mum - my husband of 54 years has been gone for 594 days now and the depression and grief never goes away. Hang in there and keep smiling and take one day at a time - it's all any of us can do. Hugs for a better day today.

I do love your green card and I am sorry to hear that you are not feeling up to much recently. It is easy for things to feel too much, so don't feel bad. Just take your time and do whatever feels right for you xx
