Hi my card today features a Penny Black Hedgehog stamp coloured with markers the 'something new' is my die cut frame, I had a lot of problems die cutting it on my A4 machine probably because it is so intricate it took me several goes my machines always seems to cut fine on the edges but misses the centre of the die fortunately I found a shim that I filed away and it seems to work but I have to use quite a bit of force which I don't like doing, anyway it turned out ok not sure if or when I will use it again it will probably be for a special occasion.

I am glad you persevered with that die cut as it looks great. A perfect frame for your hedgehog. Have you tried using bubble wrap when cutting a die like that? I have found it works a treat xx
Beautiful card Lorraine, those frame dies can be very tricky and frustrating unless your plates and machine are brand new..lol..gorgeous little Hedgie and I love the colour..

With difficult intricate dies hard to cut I find so useful the metal plate, it's less thick that the shim and it's rigid, so helps to cut well.

A gorgeous card Lorraine, love the cute image and the frame is gorgeous, what a shame it's so difficult to cut. I have some dies that I rarely use because of the same problem, others that look similar cut perfectly first time.

Wow this card is so sweet and elegant Lorraine! I adore those hedgies! That frame looks very intricate and looks like it might give a few issues on my Big Shot machine as well unless I run it through with a precision plate. I do love the look of it on your card!
