Hi all, today is the start of a new challenge at

EASTER

here is my DT card using a new rubber stamp (bought before I moved) called
Tilda with Daffodils
the papers are Bearly Mine both image and papers have been mounted onto black card, I coloured Tilda with markers then added lots of lovely spring flowers, double yellow organza ribbon, bark heart and sentiment.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

I am still trying to settle in my new flat it is very hard going especially after living in my other place for nearly 23 years, both James and I are finding it difficult.
I have only just set up my printer and I really hope that I can get back into some sort of routine soon, I feel a bit empty headed at the moment, nothing seems quite real to me but I know that given time it will get better.......I hope.

I'm sure things will get better soon, it's bound to feel a little strange living somewhere different after all those years but hopefully you will soon settle and feel comfortable in your new home.

What a stunner Lorraine, you have displayed your lovely stamp perfectly with those gorgeous flowers. Glad to hear you are all moved in and given time, I am sure you both will settle down nicely. As we get older it doesn't take much to fog up our brains but it will all fall into place soon.

hi lorraine. good golly girl! every single one of your creations takes my breath away! absolutely gorgeous!. i think we in the USA are hoarders and afraid to put alot of pretties on our cards. especially if we want to mail them... as the P.O. charges and extra stamp for every bump they feel and even more because they have to hand cancel it. no wonder they're in financial trouble. that's the main reason i stopped sending cards overseas.. not because i don't want to but it would cost me alot more than it costs you. go figure!
anyway, thanks for your well wishes on this stupid congestion i have. at least it's only in my head and there's no coughing, wheezing or anything in my chest. now that spring has spurted, it'll turn to my allergies i'm sure. getting old is such fun!

Hope you feel settled soon. It is very hard to settle in to a new home...lots of work at the beginning with all the unpacking and organizing of items Once that is over with, the establishing routines part is paramount to enjoying the new place.
We love our home...moved in two years ago and yet I am still working to set new routines. We are just 6 doors away from the grankids, daughter and son-in-law. We try to help out whenever they need us and it does take its toll on setting up new routines!
But we love to help and love the kids etc...so worth it to delay the routines fora bit longer...lol
