RAGGEDY GIRL DAISY MAE

Hi all, we woke up to a frost this morning, the wind has picked up and very cold I have been told to expect snow tomorrow, whoopy do, lol.
I want to thank you all for your continued support at the start of 2016, your encouragement and support means everything to me especially now when I feel that my mojo has gone on a winter break.  I just can't seem to get my mind working and at a lost as to what to do next.
I have quite a few new stamps and dies but don't feel like they are 'speaking' to me if you know what I mean.
I bought the Sapphire small die cutting machine back last year when it was first launched and it is fantastic, today I have ordered the new Tattered Lace Big Blue electronic die cutting machine, my son is treating me to it as an early 2016 gift, awesome, maybe when I receive it I can go to town with my dies and embossing folders and gain some much need inspiration.
Although I see so much beauty and stupendous creations when visiting my friends and visitors, my brain has just lost it's creative function.
However, I do have a couple of cards to share with you today the first one is a new digi stamp from Miss Daisy stamps she is called Raggedy Girl Daisy Mae, I have gone for a coffee and cream colour combo, I coloured the image with both Copics and Graph It Markers, the papers are a  mix of LOTV and Bearly Mine, I added some little flowers, stamped sentiment and a burlap flower.

For my second card I have used an image by Sandra Caldwell I have seen these featured on my blogging buddy Sheila's blog for sometime, at first I could not quite make up my mind about them but over the months have actually fallen in love with these quirky images and treated myself to a couple, I wonder what you think of them?

Well that's it from me today my next posting will be on Saturday night, until then have a great weekend, but of course I will be visiting you all shortly

Both these creations are so gorgeous Lorraine. It doesn't look like your Mojo has gone to me.
At the moment I don't want to get out of bed of a morning and I look at a blank piece of card and want to burst into tears but I know the reason for that.

Lorraine, hun, your cards are always gorgeous! You have a wonderful eye for combining colours and also patterned papers - I look at what you post on Facebook and try to work out why your work always looks so balanced!

These two cards are fab, I love the bright colouring on the second card but my fave is the Raggedy Girl one - lovely subtle colours, and look how well the gingham and flowered papers go together!!!

I hope you feel better about your mojo soon, maybe he needs to sit on the naughty step for a while until he promises to behave!!!

with much love, Maggie XXX

Great cards, particularly love the first one and the colours you used. Looks so good, your colouring is brilliant and those panels behind the coloured image look great. Well done

I know how you feel Lorraine, I have been sitting here all day too, not being able to create although I desperately need to get some orders started and finished. Maybe it's the aftermath of Christmas and hopefully Mr Mojo will soon return.
Your two cards for today look fabulous, I love the monochromatic one with the gorgeous raggedy doll image.
Take care and keep warm.

Two gorgeous cards Lorraine. I know what you mean about the mojo though as since Christmas I am struggling too and know exactly what you mean when you say you don't know what to do next. Hopefully it'll all pass soon-maybe we just haven't recovered from the Christmas break yet?? xx

Two terrific cards Lorraine. I hope that mojo isn't hiding too far. I was a bit like that all of last year. Over Christmas I started going through my paper scraps and searching google and pinterest for different ways to use them. I finally feel a bit of excitement and keenness to sit down and craft again.

This is just delightful Lorraine. I love daisies, and the wonderful daisy patterns here are so pretty. The neutrals work well for this image, and so does the wonderful plaid backing. hugs :)
