Hi all, today I have a card that I would like to share with you and enter into a few challenges, I have used one of my rubber stamps that I bought from Funky Kits many moons ago, she is from the Cherry Pip range, I have another one but this particular stamp I thought is better for Summer time, although sat here looking out the window it looks anything but Summer, dark and dreary, never mind I can do lots of crafting today.
You may be able to sense that I am a little happier with my post today, I think I have finally broken the 'blogging/Google' curse, Firefox seems to be working well.........at the moment, lol.
I inked the stamp up with Versafine Sepia then coloured with Copics and Graph It Markers, I doodled the frame then mounted her onto black card stock, the papers are a mixture of LOTV and Wild Rose, i did a little faux stitching, added a sentiment, punched butterflies and some flowers.

Oh gosh what a cutie she is too. love the colouring and the backing papers are just right for a summer themed card. Raining outside my window too at the moment. thankyou for fluttering by again. She is adorable, Lorraine! I love your coloring, of course - you always inspire me with your color choices and blending techniques. But to use the sepia to achieve a fainter line is a fantastic idea, and perfect for lots of flesh tone areas showing up. The white dots on your fabrics look great with the whites in your background panels. The details are sweet as can be! I'm sorry about not visiting as often as I'd like these days.
