Hi all, today I have a card and some wonderful news to share with you my dear friends and followers.
They say that life begins at 40 well it didn't for me but I can say that it has begun at 60. As you may know it was my 60th birthday last week and today I picked up my new car, well it is new to me, very low mileage only 24k, I have also won first prize in the Craft Catz Weekly Challenge I am thrilled to bits, thirdly my son is getting me my surprise 60th birthday present today, I haven't got a clue what it is but I know it will be something nice. Finally I have become a new Creative Team Member at Fitztown Challenge the card below is what won me first prize and the image is FAE4 from the Fitztown Store, link in my side bar, I am feeling so proud and so blessed that all these wonderful things are happening to me, I think I will have to pinch myself to make sure that I am not dreaming, lol.
My card share for today is a card for Christmas featuring a Sherri Baldy Bestie Image No: 0282, I have coloured her with Graph It Markers and gone for a vintage sepia style.
I have used a 7 x 7 black card for the base the papers are LOTV, the circle I cut out with my EK Success circle cutter, I have added some cream and gold pearls, gold bow, black mirri card holly, Cosmic Shimmer Gold PVA glue, flower and stamped sentiment.

Happy Belated Birthday. 60 is a great age. Still young enough to enjoy all that life has to offer and smart enough to know what to avoid! Glad you are having some wonderful things happen around your birthday, and many congrats on your DT assignment too. You are on a roll with these beautiful sepia tones. Love all the glimmer and shades of color on this little cutie. That's great texture on her little cap and wonderful shading on the bag. It really added so much 'shape' to the bag'. Big congrats on your new Design slot sweetie, your cards are gorgeous. The one you won with is awesome. I am a GD for them on Thursday 7th, this will be my fourth one off slot with them. I am not as brave as you and go for the whole hog. This way I can choose which theme I want to join in with. Lol!!!
