Good morning, I am going to start off with an apology to my loyal friends, visitors and commenters for not visiting you, I will be rectifying that today so please bear with me.
I made a decision awhile back to take up crochet again I used to do it many years ago, I have been trawling the web for ideas, inspiration and instructions (easy ones) for me to follow.
I made several practice runs and am now happy with some of the work that I have completed, this card shows just two of the projects that I really like, the flowers are called 'May Roses', the leaves I finished crocheting yesterday. I have added sequins to the roses for extra sparkle, the image is from the newest Ooh La La CD called Yesterdays Memories, I added just a slight tint of Lilac to her headband and distressed the edges with some Tim Holtz ink, I used satin mirri card for the base and mounting the image, I used textured lilac card then embossed it, I added lots of purple sparkly gems, ribbon bow, feather, 2 different lace and a butterfly.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Many thanks for visiting me today I will see you later.
