Hi all today I have two Christmas cards to show you that I have made for our own little Christmas Card Club. I did not make one for the last challenge so I have made up for it this time.
My first card is based on the theme from the last challenge which was to use an Aperture.
I tried something a little different this time, I used an A6 card base which I embossed using the Cuttlebug snow fall folder, I used my Xcut star die for the aperture, I used a smaller star die for the mirror card then placed the star and sentiment on the inside, I added two little stars but apart from that I have kept it very clean and simple.
My next card is this weeks theme that was chosen by me which was to use a sentiment as the focal point, I used an A6 card base also embossed with the Snow fall folder, I also used my rectangle Spellbinder dies, I have wanted to use this sentiment for a long time, it is a wooden stamp which I inked with Momento ink, I added a gold die cut snowflake and a red star. once again I have gone for the clean and simple style.
I think my mojo has taken an early Summer holiday as I have been struggling a bit with my crafting.
I would like to enter this card into the challenge at
I would like to enter both cards into the challenge at
I will be around later so see you then, hugs to all.

Is it time to think about Christmas already? lol I definitely should, I never have my cards done in time!!
Love the star cut, very elegant!
We recently returned from a month long vacation traveling across the USA, it was so nice to get away and break away from routine. I had all my crafting done before we left. I'm so glad I did too, because now I don't have the mojo to craft much at all!
Take care hun!

Lorraine, your Mojo is just fine :-)! Sometimes a clean, simple card is much more effective especially when you want the sentiment to be the focal point of your card. I love them both!!! Thank you for sharing your creativity with us for our Sentiment Only challenge at Christmas Card Challenges!
Both of these cards are beautiful. I think the Star though is my fav! I like the "cutout" for the star. I also like the embossing you did.
