Hi all before I tell you about our new challenge I would like to thank you all for your well wishes. I went to my doctor, I have been put on both steroids and anti biotics, I had to take 6 of the steroids as soon as I got home plus one of the anti biotics plus my tablets for depression, I have been having breathing difficulties so I thinks the steroids are to help with that as well as the infection I have. I don't normally read the papers that come with the tablets but as I have never taken steroids before just thought that I would check and it seems that if you suffer with depression or mental health issues, which I do, they could escalate the problem, so I had better beware. I was a little concerned because my doctor always overruns with his appointments and I was kept waiting for over 3/4 of an hour and the surgery was actually all locked up by the time I got in to see him. I thought it all was a bit rushed but he is the doctor so I am sure he knows what he is prescribing.
Anyway enough of me I want to tell you about our new challenge over at
this week the theme is all about
SHAPED CARDS
No square ones allowed.
Here is my Spring Card I hope that you are going to like it.
I have taken two pictures so you could see it from the side, I have kept it quite simple this time, I have used the gorgeous Crafty Sentiments image 'Cute Amy' I love her and she is a dream to colour which I have done with Copics. I mounted a doily onto the top part of the card then added some paper and flower I cut Amy out and 3'd her with silicone glue. I added some ribbon and flowers to the bottom part of the card.
I will be entering this one into some challenges but I will do that later as i have scheduled this post.
I would like to thank you all for visiting I do hope that you will come join us this week at
CRAFTY SENTIMENTS
we would love to see what shaped cards you use.
Hugs to all see you later.

Absolutely gorgeous spring card Lorraine, really beautifully embellised and coloured. I agree with talking to your chemist they often have better knowledge of what meds can be mixed but if there was a real problem they would have questioned it when issuing the script. Hope you are feeling better soon though, take care xx
Fabulous card and terrific fold! Love the lacy trim you used.
I would check with your pharmacist or doctors office about the combination.
Most symptoms are the extreme that could happen but better safe then sorry
Take care of yourself
Such a fun easel card
Hey beautiful, I am so sorry you are going through it at the moment with your health. I am on steroids permanently for my RA so if you fancy a chat about them just email me ok. The steroids will open up your airways to help you breathe properly while the antibiotics take effect to clear up the infection. Hopefully you won't be on the steroids long enough for it to effect your depression darlin and as you get down to a lower dose any side effects will lessen. I suffer from bad depression and am on meds but the steroids have never ever affected it thankfully. Hoping you are feeling better soon hun. Keep meaning to ask you how is Polo??? I know he was poorly but had picked up well.
Right onto your beautiful card, it is stunning. That doily is so pretty. The image is cute and you have coloured it amazingly. Well you take care my friend and remember you can always talk to us CCC girls. Hugs Clare xxx

Beautiful card. I love that fold!
I am so glad to read you are taking good care of yourself. I know what you mean about wondering if you should take something or not. I go through the same thoughts. Just listen to your body. It knows best and your Dr too if he or she takes the time to really know you.
