Fresh New Look

Do you like my beautiful new banner for 2012, I am over the moon, thank you Lynn

Hi all today I would like to show you a couple of cards that I have made using some new FREEBIE images from AISNE
If you would like to play with this set of new images then please visit Aisne's blog
The whole set shown in the last picture below is what you get, please leave Aisne a comment and maybe become one of her followers then you can view her beautiful images that are for sale.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
For my cards I have used two of the new images from the set below, I have coloured them both with Copics.
The first card I have used the pink and black colour theme, the papers are from Bo Bunny Enchanted paper pack, I added a bow, flowers, gems and sentiment.
My second card I made is using a more pastel colour theme of green and yellow, the paper is from Bearly Mine Spots set, I used a Nestie die cut then embossed it with the dotty folder, I distressed the oval with TH ink, using my new distressing brush from Inkylicious, I find them so much easier to use.  I have added spotty ribbon, gems, flowers and sentiment.
The spotty ribbon and gems I purchased from Mei Flowers who have a sale on at the moment of 25%.  I just thought that I would share this with you has the gems are at a fantastic price and now I can use them more freely on my projects as the prices are good with or without the sale.

This is the Freebie Set From Aisne

Well that is it from me at the moment but I will be back a little later to see you.  I have my son suffering with man flu and he needs constant care.....lol.
Hugs to all

Lorraine, two lovely cards and thanks for the tip about the freebie. Oh Lynn has done you proud. I love it as it's my favourite colour purple but I have to admit I did shed a tear when I saw the Eiffel Tower - my mum looked after my boys for my 30th when my hubby took me to Paris and then for my 40th we went to Blackpool with a similar tower and again she looked after the boys so we could go on our own. It's amazing how you can look at something and make you miss someone so much. Continue with your wonderful work.Hope Polo is keeping OK. Best wishes. Kym xxx
