Hi all I can't believe it is the 1st of February already but it is and I have some new challenges to show you.
The first new challenge is at Sir Stampalot the theme is
Noah's Ark
and the prize is
a surprise and it will be a good one for sure
I was a little stumped at first when I saw the theme but the wheels started turning and I had visions of Meerkats. I bought this stamp a few years ago I fell in love with it at once and decided this was the one I wanted to use for my DT card.
The stamp is one image so I used the masking technique to make a pair then coloured them with Copics, the base papers is Basic Grey I added some raffia type ribbon, gingham ribbon and buttons.
I thought this would also make a great card for a male which is why I did not add any flowers or frippery.
My next card is my DT project for this weeks
the theme is
Shades of Grey with One Splash of Colour (including skin tones)
I have used one of my Cuddly Buddly digital images which I have coloured with promarkers, my splash of colour is pink.
I used S.E.I grey and pink papers, added some pink ribbon, flowers and I used Pewter Liquid Pearls for the flower centres.
I hope you have enjoyed viewing my cards and I really hope that you will join us at both
and
Hugs

You have an array of wonderful cards, Lorraine. I was baffled by the one with the meerkats. I couldn't make out what I was seeing until I read the writeup. You are so clever to even think of using that stamp. Great coloring and designs.
What a cute rabbit card. Thanks for playing along with us at Paper Playtime this week.
