Morning all today I have the pleasure of showing you some of the new November Meljen Digi Releases, they are now available at Whimsy Stamps, and as always they are gorgeous.
My DT cards are below and the first one is showing the image of Santa, a jolly fellow for sure.
It is my first time that I have made this tri fold shutter card I followed a tutorial (HERE) the second one I tried ended up in the bin, lol, but I will be making more of them.
I used Bazzill 12x12 card stock the papers are from SU, I printed and cut out two Santa Heads and coloured with Prisma pencils and Sansodor then mounted them onto either end of the card. The sentiment is also from Whimsy Stamps and is a framed sentiment by Ann Vento, I used my graphics programme and mounted it onto a background colour. I used a branch and 6 petal retro punch for the flowers and leaves, I used mirror card for shine. I then tried the glitter technique using double-sided tape which I saw on one of my blogging buddies blogs, but drat it I forgot which one. The glitter I have had for a few years and is gold mica it really shines up in real life, I will also be using this technique again.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My second card is using the Winter Tree and also the same sentiment as above but on a different coloured background. I used Bearlymine paper, green card the edges of which have been punched using my EK Success punch, I added some ribbon, card candy and I also found a little star punch while searching through my cupboards so used that for the mirror card red stars.
Well that's it for the moment I hope you have enjoyed my work and please pop over to Whimsy Stamps to see their wonderful ranges by Melissa and Crissy to name just a couple.
Hugs to all see you in a bit.
Beautiful post, great ))
Hey, possibly this post is not on topic but in any event, I have been browsing about your site and it looks really neat. It is easy to see I am creating a new blog and I am struggling to make it look great, and supply excellent subject matter. I have learned a lot here and I look forward to additional updates and will be returning.
