Hi all today sees the start of a new challenge at Digital Tuesday and this weeks theme has been chosen by Amy and she would like to see us use chalks on our cards/projects.
Our sponsor this week is Maljen's and the winner will receive 4 free Digi Images.
Here is my DT card
I chose an image that I have had for sometime from Character Cafe called Relaxing Rosebud and coloured her with Copics.
After searching high and low i finally found my chalks which I got some years ago but have never used. They came with the stick thing that has a claw on the end to pick up the little cotton balls. I used the shimmer pack and coloured the sky and grass with them also the yellow circle which I have embossed just added some to the raised parts, unfortunately the camera does not show them up as well as real life.
I took a close up hoping they would be more prominent but not sure it worked. The papers are Papermania I added some gems and a few butterflies. This is one of those cards that I can't make up my mind about I think I like it but not to sure.
I was challenged with this card as I have not used the chalks before but I think I will be using them again especially for shading the backgrounds I just need more practice lol.
I hope you will accept our challenge this week and come play with us at Digital Tuesday we just love to see you.
Hugs to all.

This is lovely, the chalks have bleneded beautifully.
I often seem to struggle with them, somehow they never quite to what I want or hope, but you seem to have mastered them fine.
