Today is a new challenge at Digital Tuesday and the theme chosen by our Amy is Paper Piecing and this weeks sponsor is My Grafico.
I have used one of My Grafico 'Birthday Girl' images along with the sentiment both of which I have paper pieced. The paper is one that I found in my free downloads section but cannot put a name to it. I have used an old CD disc to create a wall hanging I added flowers punched a hole using my crop-a-dile and and eyelet which i threaded some organza copper coloured ribbon through for more inspiration you must go visit the other DT's their work is always amazing.
It would be great if you could join us all we ask is that you use at least one digital image or digi download the rest is down to you.

This is just great Lorraine, what a novel idea to use rosebuds in the centre of bigger petalled flowers. Would never have thought of that

Lorraine, oh isn't she sweet. I love the way she has been paper pieced so all the spots match!!! Think it must have been fate - I saw Hazel's new design blog and felt like a bit of a change so I had a go at changing mine. I struggle as I need one I can see clearly to ready the teat but I found this cheery looking one (no ones of the sea or purple ones) to have for a while. I so much prefer the 3 column layout and don't find things jumping around as much as they did with the 2 column version. Best wishes, Kym xxx
