A Nutcrafters Freebie plus Sketch

Hello everyone hope you are enjoying this gorgeous weather it is rather warm great for getting the washing dry lol.  I have given Polo a bath this morning, cleaned out the bird baths and changed a few thing around in the garden. The birds watch me I can feel them they go quiet then when I come in, down they come to inspect my handy work lol.  There are a lot of babies around and the Sparrow's and Starling's are bringing them into the garden to show them where they can eat and drink I have been feeding them about three times a day for the last few days.  I always use brown seeded bread and sultanas there is always a squabble who gets the sultanas first especially the Blackbirds who are not frightened of me at all they actually come right down to me and listen to me talking lol....they are probably the only ones that do....my son certainly doesn't.
Anyway onto my card which is using a freebie image and made using a sketch which are both available from Nutshells new blog (see the posting below).  There is a DT call but I just loved the sketch and of course the image and thought I must have a go at this one and here it is.  I have coloured the image using my promarkers the backing papers are quite a mixture some from Bearlymine (I have ordered the CD and can't wait for it to come) a bit from Funky Fairies and some from my stash I have stamped a sentiment and added some flowers.  Hope you like it and if you lovely talented people feel like having a go then hop onto Nutshells blog.  Hugs to all.

Hi Lorraine, you have bee a busy bee today and cards as well. This one is so sweet, I did take a look at the Nushell site earlier, but that was as far as it got. Good luck with the DT call.

Hope you are going to have a go at our Allsorts challenge ths week - no stamped image is the theme.

Hi Lorraine!
Glad your weather is so nice to be out in the garden with the birds! It's a bit humid here today, but the sunshine is so delightful! We've been watching a morning dove sitting on her nest and lately another dove has been cuddling with her...it's so romantic! lol
Your card is beautiful! Great coloring and papers! I hopped over to the Nutshells to checkout the candy and saw the freebie. Aren't their images adorable?! I'm working on a card right now too...love all those layers!!! Best wishes for the DT, you do such lovely work!!!!
Enjoy the rest of your beautiful weekend!
Blessings, Maria

Those papers really look fab and the image is so cheerful. Great card.
Know what you mean about the birds watching and listening. It's a nice feeling to know that they are at home in your garden isn't it?

Snap, I was out cleaning the bird bath and bird table. I love it when the baby starlings come down, they are to young at the moment to be frightened of us, so I am often able to stand outside and watch them. The best bit is when they are bathing, two in the bowl and three on the side. I love spring.
Your card is lovely great image I will have a look at Nutshells blog. Oh and Polo is adorable.

Wonderful card Lorraine, love the sweet image, thanks for the link.

I'm also filling up the bird feeding station at least twice a day at the moment, we have so many starlings, and boy do they squabble, there's plenty to go round...lol. The other birds aren't getting much of a look in, so I've done a little feeding area around the side of the house, which the starlings haven't noticed yet, but the blackbirds certainly have.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

This is stunning. I have so many challenges that I just don't get to most of them. I think it's time for me to try some new ones.

I love this. And I love the bird story. Those blackbirds are NOT afraid of anything. I had to take my birdfeeder down because they were "hogging it all up". Dirty birds! lol.
