Simplicity in a Big Way!

Hi all hope you are well. This is a card that I made for the challenge at C.RA.F.T. the theme being to use the colours Pink and Brown which are of course my favourites. I also took the opportunity to use this card for my son James' 19th birthday which is tomorrow. I love Digi Stamps and all those beautiful stunning thin but voluptuous ladies, however, I also adore the bigger ladies and being one myself I think it is wonderful that the artists are now including the larger figured girls into there work. This particular image is from Victoria Case and can be found under the 'Pin Ups' category. I have coloured this beauty with pro markers the backing paper is Bearlymine and I have added some brown card embossed with the paisley cuttlebug folder on the end for a bit a texture. I added a circle sentiment which was a freebie and some SU ribbon. The card stock is an A4 size pre scored long ways I got these from Ideal Envelopes who no longer do the larger cards due to the cost so I am being very frugal with them lol.

My son is always so complimentary and refuses to say that I am on the big side yet he is just so skinny and keeps saying how much he wants to get fatter....isn't it always the way lol. Anyway I hope you like this card, sending you all hugs and see you soon.

Love this card! I love to see a "real" woman as a stamp image. That is what my sister says about us, we are more on the voluptuous side and she says were real women. I love your card!
Blessings,
Kim xXx

I tried to comment on your new DT spot and I don't think it went through! Congrats and you totally deserve to be on any team you so wish, you're so very talented!

Very awesome.

I think you're right about the stamps including this. I'm not on one side or the other... but I also do not like those pencil thin girls... don't they call them bellas I think?

Ah yeah I agree, Real Women should be on more cards!!!! Jake always says I am Cuddly!!! But he is a rake like your son!!!!
Grrr wish I could just eat what he does, when he was smaller he had a weight problem and had to go to the Dietician but now he is the other way and I can count his ribs!!!
Anyway, love the card it looks great, love the pink and brown theme, it is so pretty, Love Hazelxox

Great card, Lorraine. And that image!!! She's fabulous and isn't she just so sassy. It is so good to see the designers finally showing someone other than the toothpicks. Have you seen Mo's Fairies? I'm sure your son will love this card, I know I do. hugs, eileen

Fabulous! I love this VC line of images! Your coloring is so beautiful Lorraine, pure eye candy!

Had to laugh about your son....my #2 son is so thin and my husband often tells him......if he turned sideways and stuck his tongue out he'd look like a zipper! lol

A big Happy Birthday to your son!!!!

Blessings, Maria
