Hello all afraid I haven't been doing much these last couple of days as my mum is still here so I am restricting my craft time. Some of you have been asking if my mum is a crafter but unfortunately no she isn't but she adores my work. Her eyesight is failing but she still does her knitting she has been into that all her life so she doesn't even have to look I have always been in awe of how good she is. When we were little she kitted our cardigans and jumpers and anything else we needed there are seven of us so it kept her busy. She always knitted them with images on I think my favourite was a lovely white thick cardy with a collar and she had knitted red flowers scattered about as the pattern and they were big red flowers not little wee ones. She has also knitted dolls dresses oh boy the lists go on and most of them she has donated to charity.
Anyway onto this card the stamp is called 'Diggin Albert' and is the prize I won from The Crafty Pad challenge and I thought straight away that it would fit the new challenge over at Die Cut Dreams the theme being 'Green Fingers' also I will be entering into Card Inspirations which is the sketch. I coloured Albert with promarkers and used a selection of Bearlymine and SU papers and Fred She Said flowers. Hope you like it, I have managed to do one more but not sure if I will post it tonight. Hugs to all.

Ah, I can remember my mums knitting and I expect my children and my grandchildren will remember mine, affectionately I hope!
This card made me smile Lorraine, it's just great.
Hope your mum is feeling better and you are both enjoying your time together...your crafting will still be there when she goes home and we will still be here.
Love & hugs Sandie xx
WOW I LOVE those flowers and the colors are FANTASTIC!!!
The image is adorable and you did your usual great job in coloring it in. I loved the Fred She Said flowers so much when you did them last that I bought them. Now, seeing what you've done with them again I think I'd better get to them.
hugs, eileen

Hi Lorraine
Love your cards tonight. The gardner is fabby and you have done a great job with the promarkers. Love the little dog as well; he'd be the one to steal the sausages!
I can remember my gran teaching me to knit when I was 7. I used to knit all my children's jumpers. My favourite was for my son; it had Oor Wullie on it - don't know if you get Oor Wullie in England? Anyway, my grandchildren won't have knitted jumpers now, too fashion conscious so I have to content myself with the odd baby item and soft toy. Anyway, it will keep your mum busy which is what's important.
