GORJUSS GIRL IN GREEN AND BLUE

Hi all, the sun is shining here in Gloucester but boy is it cold, I am posting this card then taking Jess out for a walk, I am hoping to do some more crafting today.
I made this card based on the colour theme challenge on Trimcraft's Forum, I have just entered it there so now it is my blog's turn.
I recently visited The Range here in Gloucester and found some stamps that had been reduced by the manager, it just happened to be the Gorjuss range of products that I was looking for, I got 5 stamps all at £2.99 each and some ribbon that had been reduced to £1.99.
This is the first stamp set, I used Versafine Onyx ink and stamped the frame I then stamped the Gorjuss girl and embossed her with clear embossing powder, I actually used 3 types of markers Copics, Graph it Markers and Chameleon pens. Once I stamped the frame I distressed the edges with Tim Holtz Peacock Ink.  I cut the Gorjuss girl out and adhered her slightly raised into the middle of the frame.
The papers are from LOTV, I have added some ribbon, carnation and quite a few die cuts.  The leaves, flowers and butterflies are the 3 sets that I won at Penny Black they are from Rob Adams All Occasion Dies selection.
And here is the finished card.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
I would like to thank you all for taking time out to come and visit me, your comments always uplift me and give me that extra needed fuel to continue to produce projects to show you, I do hope that you have enjoyed seeing my work you are always welcome to visit at anytime
hugs

Welcome back into the die-cutting world! lol I know just what you mean with dies though. The Joy machine sounds brilliant. Have you tried the Cheery Lynn ones on it yet I wonder? Oh heck, what would I do without my die-cuts! Oh Lorraine Iam so pleased the tutorial worked well for you and cannot wait to see your Tussie Mussie. I found them quite addictive! Great for Christmas pressies too I reckon! Love your card by the way! Judy x

You must tell me what you think of the chameleon pens, i bought the new aqua's from CC but I sent them back didn't like them, and was tempted by the CP, although I suppose I could get them and if I don't like those I could send them back. your card is stunning Lorraine luv the colours and that was a brill price for the stamps, lovely die-cuts too, don't forget to let me know about the pens

You got some pretty good prices there kid!
When I first started, it seems all I really noticed was the images people were using. Now what I am paying more attention to is color. And of course using die cuts is so much fun. You seem to be having fun with colors too!
Well done Sugar!!
