RED AND WHITE CHRISTMAS

Hi all, I am still getting used to my computer and have already noticed that there have been so many changes I don't know whether it is because I now have Windows 8 or not.  I cannot print anything as I cannot find the original disc for my printer I know I have put it somewhere safe but I have had it for a few years so it could be anywhere.
I have managed to catch up with commenting and visiting most of my favourite blogs I have been so inspired by you all.
I have managed to complete a Christmas card using the colours red and white.  The main image is a stamp that I bought from Stamps By Chloe a little while ago, I have heat embossed it using WOW Gold Embossing powder also some of Debbie Moore's gold glitter, I then added some Red Pearl glue to the centre of the snowflakes and star-bursts.
The white card is Centura Pearl I used my 8x8 snowflake embossing folder the image shows up lovely in this picture.  I used my EK Success circle cutter for the central mount and Marianne dies for the Poinsettia and leaves, the sentiment is from the Tonic Christmas Cracker die it comes with 3 die cut sentiments this is one of them.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

I thought that you might like to see one of the latest pictures that I took of my mum and Jess they love each other so much and Jess brings my mum so much joy, she laughs quite a lot when she is with Jess and me.

Well that is it from me for today, I hope to continue my visits to you all very soon until then take care.

Lovely card with all the sparkling gold. Haven't used the gold WOW as yet. I have some of the white. Great embossing on the background as well. Very festive altogether. Enjoyed seeing the picture of your Mom & puppy. You can see a lot of love there! Had to laugh about your PC woes...doesn't that always happen? All my software is in a safe place too...where I won't forget its storage place. Can I find it when I need it? Not usually! I'm waffling about migrating to Win8...guess I'll have to, when we update this computer. I still maintain XP on an older pc, as I have software that won't work with newer Windows versions. TFS & Merry Christmas.

Such a sweet photo of your mom and Jess! That dog is darling! :) I've just gotten Windows 8 a couple of months ago and it does take a bit to get used to. I also have the touch screen which is really weird too! But I do like it! Enjoy your Holiday month my friend! HUGS
