Digital Tuesday Challenge #123 - DT Card

Hi all, before I talk about the challenge I would like to thank you all for leaving such lovely comments on my work, you will never know how much joy it brings me, so thank you friends old and new.

May I apologise for any mistakes you may find in this post I have had to resort to wearing my arm splint as I am in rather a lot of pain.  It was so bad yesterday I was tempted to cut my arm off, even after taking some pain killers I have spent an agonizing night trying to forget the pain, a sort of mind over matter thing...it never worked, lol.  I am typing this so slow but I am hoping to finish without screaming, lol.

Here is my DT card

I decided to use an image from the Precious Moments range of images and coloured her with Promarkers, I mounted the image onto both red and blue card, I used the same card for the base both cards I embossed with the Cuttlebug spots folder.  I added some wide organza/silk ribbon topped with a blue silk ribbon and bow.  I found a yacht image in my digi folder, not sure whose it is but I printed them out twice coloured with Promarkers, cut them out and mounted onto punched out circles of gold mirri card to give a sun effect, finally I added a stamped sentiment.

For my card I have used a mixture of papers and three layers all papers have been mounted onto green mirri card, I added some green gingham ribbon, card candy and an embossed die cut which I did with the Cuttlebug.  The image I printed then cut out and coloured with Copics, the hair I decided to experiment with some different brown Copics and I like it, hope you do as well.

For my card I have used an image from Make It Crafty, I have coloured her with promarkers, cut her out and placed her in the die cut oval frame, I used a pink pearlescent card for the die cut flourish, punched a border with my EK Success flower border punch I added some pearls to the ends of the flourish, the paper is from Bearlymine.

HUGS, KISSES AND FUN

Hi all, phew it's hot again today but a breeze has just sprung up so hopefully it will cool down for tonight.

I have two cards to show you which I am entering into various challenges.

My first card I made last night while being harassed by both my son and doggy, I did make a small mistake but I don't think that it will be noticed, lol.

I have used a Sarah Kay image which I don't think I have inked up before, I wanted to join in this weeks Passion for Promarkers challenge so searched for it among my stash and inked it with Momento Tuxedo Black ink, I have coloured the image with Promarkers as I thought that it was about time I started using them again.  I see quite a few of my blogging buddies use them and it has inspired me to give them more airing.  I did buy some of the new fine nib attachments from Joanna Sheen, which converts the Promarker into a fine liner and it is perfect for the smaller areas.

The papers I have used are K&Co and went for a blue and green theme, I die cut the hearts, distressed a doily and put behind the image, I then used my new SU Flower die cut, I used bronze stickles for the centre of the big flower and a jeweled brad for the second, finally I added a stamped sentiment.

For my second card I have used a stamp that I got from Funky Kits absolutely ages ago but have never used, I coloured this one again with Promarkers, I used a white 6x6 scalloped base card the pink card is pearlescent and I have embossed it with the Hougie Board, the paper is K&Co cut into a large circle, I added  some butterflies, flowers and sentiment.
