Hi all hope that you are enjoying this hot weather, I am not so much mainly because I tend to swell when it is hot and humid, but it does get the washing dry, so my son is happy, lol.

I bought a new stamp from Crafty Emma's it is from the Penny Johnson Vintage range and is a clear stamp.  I inked it with Momento black ink then coloured with Copics, I think next time I use it I will try my distressing inks and go for a more sepia look.

I used a cream card base but distressed the edges with TH vintage photo ink, the bp is a freebie from Michele Roos, I thought it was perfect for my card.  I mounted both the paper and image onto black card the punched the side of the image with an MS border punch.  I added gold liquid pearls here and there, the little flowers are also from Crafty Emma's store.  I added a black bow and cut a large flower petal in half to put at top and bottom.

I have used a stamped image from the Pixie Cottage which I won some time ago and it is Hannah in the garden, I stamped her with Momento Tuxedo black ink and coloured with promarkers, the papers are from SU, I added some card candy, netting and flower.

Christmas Blues

Hi all, first may I thank you for your kind wishes for my mum, her back is still hurting her but she says that if she went to the doctors they would just tell her to rest.  I am a little worried about her as she will be 92 in November and this sort of fall is not good for anyone especially her age.  She usually stays with my sister three days of the week but since the fall she has stayed at home as my sister and her husband go out everyday and do a lot of walking which my mum can't do for the moment.  Anyway I wanted to thank you all for your concern.

I made this card yesterday I had already coloured the image and thought that while there were still a few Christmas challenges about that I had better get on and finish it.

I have used an image that I got from Funky Kits some while ago but she remains one of my favourites, I have coloured her in blue using Copics.  The papers are Bearlymine, the centre panel I used my SU border punch on, I added some ribbon and a stamped LOTV Christmas sentiment.

I also added a blue gem and some flowers that I recently purchased from Crafty Emma's Store.

For my card I used a 6x6 white scalloped base, the papers are Papermania Capsule Vintage Linen Christmas Collection, the image is a digi called First Christmas from Elisabeth Bell, I coloured her with Copics.  I added some lace, ribbon, flowers, gems and a stamped sentiment which I just bought from LOTV.

I hope you like my card I will see you all a little later but today I am going to visit my mum at her home.  Two weeks ago she fell down some steps and hurt her back, she came to stay with me at the weekend, although I have asked her to come stay with me during the week as well she has opted to stay at home so I am getting a lift so I can keep her company for the day.
