I am thrilled to be a part of this wonderful DT, I have always been a big fan and lover of Bearlymine papers and use them as often as I can.
This is my debut as one of the DT and it is awhile since I felt as nervous as this. I am glad that I created my DT card a while back as I think my mojo as gone and taken a vacation without telling me, lol.
Here is my DT card
I have used an 8x8 base card and used papers from Bearlymine Extreme Vol 2, with such a wide and beautiful range of designs and colours it is brilliant to be able to choose and match the papers to suit not only the project but your mood and I wanted to use my all time favourite colours of Pink and Brown.
I have used the KK image of Raven and for a change coloured her in the same colour combo and she looks just as beautiful as the darker colours normally associated with this fab goth style range of images.
I used the Nestie Deckle Edged dies for the central image and distressed around the image using TH Vintage Photo ink, I mounted the papers onto pink card the pink panel I used my new SU scallop punch to make a side border. I used two types of ribbon one of which is one of the new seam binding ribbons from SU, I made a bow at the top and used a cork buckle (available from Crafty Emma's Store) on the strip of ribbon at the bottom, the flowers are from my stash, I also added some card candy, gems and sentiment which I also distressed. The picture below shows Raven a little closer.
