PIXIE DUST STUDIO #80

Hi all today is the start of a new challenge at
the theme is
COUNTING ALONG
we would like to see 'numbers' on your cards/projects
Here is my GDT card
I have used an image from the Glamorous Gran range and coloured her with Copics
It will be my Mum's birthday later this year and thought that this challenge was a great opportunity to make a birthday card for my son to give his 'Nan'
I have used Bearlymine Papers, Damask, Lace and Vintage, which are all available HERE I chose my all time favourite colour combo Pink and Brown, the flowers are felt and have been cut using the TH Tattered Floral Big die, I have added some gems for their centres. The circle with my mum's age on has been computer generated then punched using my circle SU and Woodware punches.
I would also like to enter this one into the challenges at

Tomorrow sees the launch of the new
STEAMPUNK
images at Pixie Dust Studio so please tune in to see the images and great work that the DT have done.

Thank you for visiting and leaving such wonderful heart-lifting comments on my work
Hugs to all see you later.

Digital Tuesday Challenge #116 - Ice Cream Combos

Hi all our new weekly challenge at
is all about using colours of Ice Cream
Our Sponsor this week is
Here is my DT card
I decided to go for Chocolate Trio, Dark, Milk and White chocolate
For my card I have used an 8x8 card base, the papers are the V&A dp, I have used the MS fan border punch, Crinkle Grand Oval Nesties and TH Tattered Flower Die for my flower. I also added some pearls, little brown flowers and sentiment.
The image I coloured with Copics, then distressed the edge of the die cut with TH Vintage Photo distress ink, the image is a new one from Simply Betty called Romantic Annie from the Victorian Steampunk range HERE

The flower I have made using different material, Brown Felt, white and brown netting and some from a pair of trousers, I threaded some ribbon into an 8" sewing needle and put it through the centre of the flower and tied a bow.  The sentiment is from Stamping with Dimension.
I would also like to enter this into the following challenges:
I hope you like my card but for some more wonderful inspiration please visit my DT sisters their work is stunning.
Hugs to all see you soon.

Creative Inspirations Challenge #62 plus DT Call

Hi all we have a new challenge for you to try at
the theme is
Stitching Real and/or Faux
Our lovely sponsor is

Here is my DT card
For my card I have used  stamp that I bought from our sponsor quite some time ago but have only ever used it once before it is a SCAD stamp and she is a little beauty.
I have coloured her with Copics the faux stitching around the image is a Magnolia stamp inked with SU Melon Mambo, I used pink card and silver mirri board to mount her on.
The papers are Bearlymine and I thought that the striped paper looked like faux stitching and was appropriate.  The papers have all been mounted onto pink card I used a black liner pen for the stitching around the edge of the card and also for the flower centres.  The flowers were punched using my large retro flower punch the butterflies were punched using my Tonic punch, I added Black Diamond stickles to the centre of both the flowers and butterflies, finally I added a stamped sentiment.

Since school many, many moons ago I have had a mental blockage in threading the bobbin of a sewing machine, I have one of those little sewing machines also a rather expensive big one that my mum gave me many years ago.  I cannot use either of them as the bobbins have run out and try as I might I cannot thread it so they are just in storage. I have even watched C$C sewing programmes to see if I could watch how they do it but unfortunately that mental blockage just sticks with me.

We are also having a DT call so if you are interested in joining our wonderful friendly team the just enter DT after your name when entering your project for the challenge.

I would also like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Thank you for visiting I hope that you like my card but for some wonderful creativity and inspiration please pay a visit to the other DT their work is amazing.
Hugs to all.

Hi all this card I managed to make for the following challenges:
I have used a Sugar Nellie stamped image that I received from one of my blogging buddies, Crafty Chris, I colored the image with Copics and mounted onto blue card.  The papers are Bearlymine and are from the Simply Dots and Spring Flower range.  I added a stamped sentiment, ribbon, flowers, blue gems and card candy.

I have received this wonderful, delicious Blog Award from blogging buddy Annmaree and I would like to say Thank You Annmaree for passing this award onto me.
I have to pass this one onto eight other blogging buddies so here goes:

I would have liked to pass it onto all my loyal friends but the rules are for eight.  I am also supposed to tell you eight things about myself but I think that I have already told you most things so I will pass on that bit, lol.
Hus to all see you soon.
