Chi Chi Memories #10 Challenge

Today sees a new Sketch Challenge at Chi Chi Memories if you would like to join in then please use the sketch and upload your card to the challenge section at Chi Chi Memories.  If you would like to use one of Chi Chi images there is a freebie section that you are welcome to use.

I have used an A5 tapestry embossed black card base which is why I have not used any dp it is virtually impossible to see in the picture but in real life it is rather beautiful.  I have used a Chi Chi image which is one of my favourites called 'relax' I have kept colouring to a minimum and used lilac and greys, the image I mounted onto lilac card. I added some matching card candy and flowers from my stash the ribbon is a new satin patterned designer ribbon which also has a very slight lilac tinge to it.

I seem to have lost my mojo and do not feel that I am producing anything worth posting at the moment I have started to visit you all but I'm afraid it is a slow progress so please bear with me.

Digital Tuesday #67 Challenge

Morning all today we have a new challenge for you at Digital Tuesday and this week Lora has chosen a sketch for us to use.

I decided to use Cheeky Cupcake and coloured her with promarkers, I used an 8x8 white base card with K&Co bp, the flowers are some that I picked up in the bargain bin at Hobbycraft and I think they look just fine on a large card, I also added ribbon and card candy.

Bit of a Mixture

Hi all, this weekend in between swollen legs, hands, being sickly and looking after mum I managed to get the following cards done for some challenges lol.

This first card I have made for:

Wags'n Whiskers - Sketch

Flutterby Wednesday - Open

Delightful Sketches - Summer Time Colours

By The Cute and Girly - Warm Summer Days

Stamping Vacation - Embellishment Challenge August 10th  (Use Butterfly)

For this card I used a Wags'n Whiskers Digi Stamp coloured with promarkers. The papers are mainly SU I have added ribbon, sentiment (freebie not sure where from) flowers and card candy

I also added a butterfly which is double layered the bottom layer I used my SU punch the top layer my new Tonic Butterfly punch.

This is my first time making a real CAS card and I enjoyed it, I am seeing this style emerge more and more and I find it very pleasing to the eye, cards in this style always seem to look classy not sure mine does though.

I have used a white pearlescent A5 card base, pink satin ribbon and my new Unity stamp set called The Simple Things. I used black Momento ink and did a shadow effect as well, the sentiment is part of the set.

Finally my third card which as you can see is quite different and was inspired by Stef aka Glitterbabe's new Challenge the theme this week is to use a colour combo of Orange, Pink and Turquoise I am also entering this into the following challenges:

I have used a digi image from Di's Digi Downloads I think her images are so beautiful and cute I have coloured her with promarkers, the papers are Basic Grey I added different coloured pink ribbons, orange roses, turquoise butterflies and card candy.

OSAAT #21 DT Card

Hi all it is time for a new challenge at OSAAT and this weeks theme is......to make a 

Military Style card for a soldier it could be for a birthday, thinking of you or I miss you anything as long as it is Military themed.  This weeks winner will receive a choice of 3 digi images.

Here is my card

I have used an image from Hope Jacare called 'Sundae' I decided to colour with Sakura Gel pens, I have used a mixture of papers the base one is from Chi Chi Memories the striped one I printed off ages ago so haven't got a name for that one the blue check one is Bearlymine. I have added some blue stars and punched a couple of small tags threaded some silver beads and made a type of dog tag.
