Sending Donkey Smiles

Welcome to our Michelle Donkey Drive

We would like to share some sad news today, some of you may already know from her blog,  design team member Michelle had an accident about two weeks ago, which has left her with the loss of her right eye and a long road of recovery ahead. In an effort to cheer her up and raise awareness for what happened to Michelle we are holding a card drive in her honor. We have many generous companies and individuals helping us with this special card drive and we hope you will help too!
We are asking that everyone please create a card in dedication to Michelle and mail it off to her. We would love nothing more than to flood her mailbox with well wishes from around the world. Michelle has shared so much of herself on her blog and in her design team work and this is a just a small way for us to give back to her.

Two of Whimsy Stamps lovely Artists Melissa Jenkins and Ann Vento have teamed up together to bring us this very special donkey image and matching sentiments, these are all available to download for free from the Whimsy Stamps store page.

On Behalf of us all I would like to thank both of you, from the bottom of my heart, for the time and thought that has gone into creating these very special images.

Digital Tuesday Challenge #66 DT Card

Hi all today we have a new challenge for you at Digital Tuesday and our lovely Kristine has chosen the theme
to use the colours Red, White and Blue
Before I get onto my card I would like to say a big thank you to all who joined us last week for the Summertime challenge the quality of the cards projects were wonderful.

This week our sponsor is My Grafico and the winner will get to choose 1 set of Digi Stamps plus 30% off other items purchased.

Here is my card
I chose to use a Meljen image available from Whimsy Stamps and coloured with Copics, the base papers are from Chi Chi Memories, the blue card I passed through the Cuttlebug using the mesh folder, I had some stars in my stash that I had cut with my Cricut. I have added star dust stickles to the swirls and the little sparklers I have also added some gold gems, which I am hoping you can see and is acceptable for the new Glitterbabes Challenge.
The image is in PNG format so with my MCS graphics programme I also inserted the sentiment which is also available at Whimsy Stamps.

I am also entering this into the following challenges

I hope you like it and please come join in our challenge this week
Hugs to all see you later.

Bookmarks

Hi all Stitchy Bear has just brought out a set of four bookmarks and can be found HERE you can either get them as a set or individually and of course crafters being crafters they are useful for other projects as well and don't forget there is a SALE on at the moment.
The theme for these new Digi Bookmarks is based on the Twilight books the new film Eclipse is due to open at the cinemas shortly.  Personally I have not got a clue what it is all about although I have seen previews on the TV of the new movie.
This is what I have made using two of the four images available.
I have created two bookmarks both coloured with promarkers I then laminated them used my crop a dile to punch a hole and threaded two of my precious tassels through.
I am thinking of giving these as little gifts so they will go into my ever growing 'gift' stash
I am also thinking that I could make a holder for them and make a bookmark gift card, so stay tuned to see what I come up with lol.
Hugs to all see you later.
