Great cards, and I love how you've done those inky backgrounds! Jen

Magic Flying Boots said...

Hi again! Thanks for your lovely comments :) Let me know how you get on with the brushes. I saw a demo at the NEC and they looked great, but I was put off by the price, mainly because whatever looks easy at a demo is not so easy once I get it home :-s
Try again with the brayer, though. You have to take loads & loads of ink off first. I load it up, then roll it longways on A4 scrap 4 or 5 times. You need hardly any ink on the roller, and just build up the colour. I still get lines & streaks, but it's getting better! Seems a waste of ink when you take so much off, but I love the effect.

Magic Flying Boots said...

So how did you do these backgrounds? Clear embossing, and then foam? I get in SUCH a mess with foam - blobs and streaks everywhere!
