Morning all hope you are fit and well. Today is the start of our new challenge at Cute Daisy May and this week we would love to see 'Vintage'. I have forever loved the Vintage look and have admired so many beautiful cards that have been shown on the blogs but alas I myself have never actually created one and still not sure that I have got it right. However, I gave it a go and this is my DT card.
I have used a CDM image from sheet #100 and coloured her with pro markers. Using my MCS graphics programme I found a vintage frame and transported the first image into it I then printed a second image cut her out and mounted her onto of the first one for a 3d effect. I distressed the base card/paper with gold metallic rub on and added some gold mirror card and lace....I do hope you like it and for even more inspiration please take time to visit the other DT members their cards are truly fabulous. Hugs to all.

Beautiful work Lorraine.

She's gorgeous Lorraine. You asked about brackets, they are just what you would use like (this) only they can be much bigger of course and made from chipboard, peeloffs, paper etc. Rosie Dee's challenge has one on their sketch this week. Hugs

This is a beautiful creation Lorrain, I love the frame around the image, and the use of all the lace.Just wonderful xxx
I think you did a fab job hun :)
I can never get my cards to look 'right' when I try to do vintage and I'm not sure my DT card is right, but I had loads of fun tyring, so it doesn't matter lol.
I love all the lace and what a great idea to use the frame, it's lovely.
I have one the my craft studio package, but I never use it, because I tried to use it a few months ago and didn't get on very well with it so gave up lol.
I wanted to use a element from MCS (I think it was a frame) with one of my digi stamps and it wouldn't let me import the image :( Any tips? I am so rubbish at that kind of stuff lol.
Hugs Lora x
