Ooh La La Challenge #99

Hi all I am afraid I have had to schedule this post as I am not feeling very well at this time. I am trying to keep up with my DT commenting but it may be a few days before I can get to see you all so please bear with me.

Well today we have a new challenge for you at

Ooh La La Challenges

We have an Inspirational Photo for you which is below.

Here is my DT card using paper and image from the new CD Shoes In Bloom 2. I decided to make an acetate card just for a change, I have some 12"x12" sheets of acetate and cut one sheet down to make this 6"x6" card. I mounted the paper onto some yellow card and adhered it on the inside of the card, I added some ribbon and sentiment also on the inside. I actually adhered the image on the outside of the card, I mounted it onto the same card as the paper then used some line glittered peel offs around the image, I added a bow and some gems also some pearls to the image. Making the card this way gives an illusion that the paper, image and sentiment are on the outside.

The below picture shows the card open.

Behind the image there is a blank card for writing a message.

Tilda Has Her Hat On

Hi all sorry I have been absent the last day or two but I am now trying to catch up on doing some visiting and commenting.

I have made this card using one of my beloved Tilda stamps. I have used two techniques on this one, one of which I have not done for a long time and that is masking, I have also done paper piecing. I stamped Tilda with Momento Tuxedo ink, I then masked her so I could stamp the little scene that is from Whiff of Joy and hasn't seen the light of day for the last few years.

I have coloured the scene, sky and Tilda's hair and skin with Copics. I used SU paper for paper piecing Tilda's dress, boots and bow on her hat. The main papers are all from Bearlymine Design Simply Spots with the exception of the pink which is the brand new BM Mini Dots that Donna has just released HERE.

I have also used my Memory Box Die cut, pearls, butterflies and a stamped sentiment.

DIGI DOODLES SHOP #95-ANYTHING GOES

Hi all, I have scheduled this post so hope it has worked.

Today is the turn of Team R at Digi doodles Shop to post their cards/projects and this weeks theme is

ANYTHING GOES

I decided to make this card for my DT project, I have several male birthdays due in March and thought this would be a good time to get at least one completed.

I have used an image from the Body Tot range, which I love so much, this character is called Cousin Marvin. I have coloured him with Copics and used papers from Bearly Mine Designs, Simply Dots set. I have used my TH clock face die cut I added some dots card candy and used stamped sentiments from the Messy Rabbit sets of stamps that I got ages ago from Joanna Sheen. I stamped directly onto the paper then added clear glaze.

Warm In The Winter

I have coloured the image with Copics the image was printed on elegant satin card from Joanna Sheen then cut out with a scalloped circle Nestie, which has then been mounted onto a pale blue card also cut with a scalloped circle Nestie.

The papers are from Bearlymine Christmas sets, I have mounted all papers onto blue card, I have used a corner, a snowflake and a tree die cut, I added lace, flowers, stamped sentiment, blue ribbon and blue gems.

Crafty Sentiments Challenge - LOVE

Here is my DT card

I have used one of the new stamps available called 'Love Boat' I have coloured it with Copics cut it out with an oval Nestie and mounted onto a blue scalloped oval Nestie.

The paper is Basic Grey, I have added lace, gems, pins, flowers, butterfly, bow and sentiment.

Cards of Love plus More

Hi all thank you so much for your lovely comments on my Christmas card that I posted yesterday, they did so much to make my heart fill with joy. Unfortunately I had a bad day, I had an anxiety attack and had to ask my mum to come and stay with me last night, to try and keep my mind occupied I made some cards, three of which I am posting below.

My first card is made with a new image from

The Digi Doodle Shop called

Emily Hug A Heart, she is so sweet, I coloured her with Copics, mounted her onto some red card, the papers I think are Nitwits, I used my circle cutter for the large circle, I added cheesecloth, two SU punched hearts, stamped sentiment, flowers, pearls and some silk hearts which my mum gave me ages ago, they were white but I coloured them with Copics then added gold pearls to them.

For my next card which, is also LOVE themed, I used a new image from

THE PAPER SHELTER

she is called, Candy Angel

I have coloured her with Copics then used a die cut to cut the image and the mount, the papers are both from Bearlymine Designs, the base one is form the Spots Collection the flower one is from Extreme Vol 3. I mounted both papers onto yellow/orangy card. I also added lace, die cuts, pearl hearts, pearls, butterfly, cheesecloth and a stamped sentiment. I also used my 'sand' effect stamp around the image I used SU mustard ink.

Christmas Card Club-Snowflakes

Hi all today I would like to show you my card that I have made for the Christmas Card Club, this week it is Sylvie's choice of theme and she chose Snowflakes.

I have used an image that I have had for a very long time but is the first time I have used her, she was a download from Inger Harding and is precoloured.

The papers are from the Bearlymine Design spots collection and is a burgundy/maroon shade, I have mounted the papers onto white card, the image I mounted onto both white and pink card and is the same colours that I used for the Marianne die cut snowflakes. The dark card is SU Razzleberry, I added some AB gems that I bought from Mei Flowers, The spotty ribbon is also from the SU Razzleberry range.

Hi all, today I have two cards to show you, I have used two of the precoloured new images that are now available from

I am so bunged up and sore that I have not coloured anything these last few days but had the urge to make these

The first image is called Adorable Panda, I love him, those eyes are so big and beautiful. I have mounted him and the papers onto black card stock, the Oriental papers are from a Joanna Sheen paper pad that I have had for years, the light green one is from Papermania Green Paper capsule collection, I added a punched SU heart and some gems. I have a friend who drives a Panda and has a Panda collection of soft toys in his car, I thought this would be great to give him on Valentine's Day.

My second card is also using a new precoloured image from the Paper Shelter and is called, Love Letters, the paper is also from The Paper Shelter, the Sweet Gardener range of papers.

I have added a doily, pink organza ribbon and bow, heart pins, flowers, stamped sentiment, butterfly and pearl heart.

Crafty Sentiments Challenge - Let's Get Girly

Hi all I am sorry to be late posting my DT card for this weeks challenge but I had a high temperature last night and me nose is all stuffed up, yep, I have a stinking cold.

Anyway, let's get onto the challenge for this week which is

This is an easy one as i think we all like girly things, lol.

I have used my all time favourite image, Lilly with Flowers, she is an absolute dream to colour, which I did with Copics. I mounted her onto a scalloped Nestie die cut, the papers are a mixture of SU and Bearlymine, I added gems, flowers, card candy and a sentiment.

We had a whopping number of entries for our challenge last week and it would be lovely to see you all again, the cards/projects were a treat.

Here is my DT card

I have used a decoupage sheet and papers called 'Puppy Love' I couldn't resist this little cutie. I printed it off then cut the images out I used silicone glue for the decoupage, I used the last two small puppy heads to peek out over the sentiment and heart doily, the main image once finished I sprayed with Crafters Companion Iridescent Glitter spray. I distressed the edges of the papers and used a square white doily I then added the matching paper and added the red heart doily, I added a computer generated sentiment, gems, butterfly and flowers.

Let It Snow

Hi all, well it finally snowed here in Gloucestershire yesterday, fortunately it turned to rain but there is still a part covering of the white stuff and it has turned crunchy, yuk.

I thought that my card was quite appropriate in this weather and called it 'Let It Snow'.

I have used the Winter Miss Anya coloured with Copics, I cut her out and have mounted her onto a scalloped die cut with silicone glue.

The papers are a mixture, the side panel is from Bearlymine Extreme Vol 3, the base paper was a freebie and have forgotten the name. I have used pastel blue card to mount the papers. The die cut I have distressed with TH Faded Jeans ink, I added dark blue ribbon and bow, flowers, gems and a stamped LOTV sentiment

I have used one of the new Digi Doodles Shop images called Loving Rose

I have coloured the image with Copics and mounted onto both red and black card, I have used a corner punch to round off the corners. The papers are from Bearlymine, I have also stamped the image with my 'sand' effect stamp, I have added red ribbon that has tiny white hearts on, I also stamped a sentiment, and added a butterfly and some red and black gems.

Hi all I have a card to show you that I have made using Paper Shelter papers and image, the papers are from the set, Sweetest Love and the image is called, Be My Valentine both available from

The Paper Shelter new weekly challenge started today with the theme Love Is In The Air, my DT project doesn't start until 15th February but I just could not resist using some of the papers and image and join in some great challenges.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and Fleximarkers I used a scalloped die cut for the image then mounted it onto the paper with silicone glue, I used a few of my Marianne Die cuts one being the heart also the flourish with the flowers, I used my Memory Box due cut in the corner and added some ivory pearls, I stamped a ticket sentiment and added some flowers.

I decided to use one of the new releases called Mo Mo, I have coloured her with Copics then cut her out, I have used my new Memory Box Wreath die cut a Spellbinders Die Cut, Tonic Flower punch, MS butterfly punch, SU border punch and the SU word punch, I went for a pink and black colour theme the papers are from my stash I added quite a few gems and pearls that I bought from Meiflowers at a great price, I have also used one of the new ticket sentiments available from Crafty sentiments.

Christmas Club Critters

Hi all before I tell you about my card can I thank each and everyone of you for your wonderful comments on my new DT posts, it is truly awesome that you are so happy for me, I know that I have said this before but it would never of happened if it wasn't for the amazing inspiration that I get from you my blogging friends.

Today it is the Christmas Club time for posting our Christmas cards the theme of 'Critters' was chosen by Pinky. I have used a LOTV stamped image of Ted, I coloured him with Copics, the papers are from my stash, it is easier to say that because I can't remember the name, lol, I added some stiff white fabric that I have had for yonks, it has white flecks in which looks like snow, I also added some pearls, glitter ribbon and a LOTV stamped sentiment.

Some Cards and News to Share

Hi all the first bit of news I would like to share with you is that I was chosen as one of the new DT at

THE PAPER SHELTER

I was thrilled to pieces when I was told that I had been chosen, I am both so proud and honoured to be part of the team and to get the chance to work with their beautiful images.

Some of you may have already noticed that I am also a new DT of the

CRAFTY SENTIMENTS TEAM

I feel that I am truly blessed to have been given such a wonderful opportunity to work with both these challenge blogs, the wonderful ladies and beautiful images. I hope that I will live up to all the expectations and create some projects which I hope will inspire you.

I have some cards to show you that I have been quietly making, the first is from Ooh La La and is one of their Plate images/decoupage. My mum asked me to make a card for my sister's wedding anniversary and I know that she like this colour and I felt I wanted it to be a bit extra, hence the project below.

I did a lot of cutting out and really enjoyed it, For the plate I surrounded the edge with AB Crystals the scroll sentiment is also from an Ooh La La CD, on the prints there was also some scalloped circles which I cut out and used for the matching card, the corners are a stamp that I just bought from Clarity Stamps, the ticket is also a stamped sentiment from Crafts 4 You, the pack was on a special reduction.

My next two cards are showcasing some recently released stamps from CRAFTY SENTIMENTS

the first one is called Kai, I coloured her with Copics, the papers are from Fancy Pants called Beach Bum, I used white card to mount the papers on then made a little lifeboat ring, the sentiment is from Cuddly Buddly I used Momento ink, the stars are from a X-Cut Star Shaped Die Cut, I also added some clear gems.

The next release is called 'He Loves Me' I used Copics to colour this little beauty, the papers I believe are Basic Grey but don't quote me on that' I have used a new corner Die Cut, Marianne Heart Die Cuts, stamped ticket sentiment, pearls, flowers and ribbon.

Time for Tea Guest DT

Hi all I am rather late posting this first card, unfortunately the 24hr of feeling unwell has turned into something that has lasted alot longer, however, I wanted to show you two cards that I have made the first being a Guest DT at Digital Delights.

I was over the moon when I was chosen as the winner of the top 3 from last weeks challenge, the reward was a free image and this weeks GDT. The image I chose was 'Its Time For Tea Booboo', I love him to bits, I coloured him with Copics then cut him out and used silicone glue to mount him onto my card. The papers are from Bearly Mine Simply Spots, I distressed the edges and then added Pearls, gems, flowers, butterflies, gold stickles, two shades of organza ribbon, pins, pearl hearts, heart doily and finally a sentiment.

I think the colours have helped give this a slight vintage/shabby chic look which I love so much, and always admire when I see it on my fellow crafters blogs.

My second card has taken me awhile to complete and I am not sure that I am happy with it, it didn't seem to turn out how I envisaged but wanted to post it anyway.

I have used one of my beloved Tilda stamps inked with Momento Black Tuxedo ink, then coloured with Copics. The papers are again from Bearly Mine Simply Dots set, I used my rectangle die cuts for Tilda, I added lace, gems, flowers, star, and pink organza ribbon and sentiment.

I have used papers and images from the Silhouette collection and have gone for a black and white theme. The papers have been mounted onto black card stock, I have used the same card stock for the band which is topped with white ribbon and black gems, I punched some black butterflies and white leaves. The leaves I have put behind the black flower which is from my stash, I added a sentiment and some more gems around the card.

I have used one of my House Mouse images stamped with Momento Tuxedo Black ink, I have used my fancy square die cuts, my label die cut and bird cage die cut, I have added card candy and punched butterflies, the sentiment is fabric, the papers are Bo Bunny.

Thank you for all your comments on my 'lost' die, I finally found it somewhere I never thought of looking, it was totally by accident that I saw it, I am so pleased I just hope that I don't lose it again, lol.

I have just started doing the second round of my commenting and I was so glad to see that some of you have changed your comment boxes to the 'pop up' style this is so much easier and makes it possible for commenting on more than one card without all the bother of going in and out of the blog. I love it.

Digi Doodles Shop Challenge #91

Hi all sorry but I am a little late posting my DT card for the new weekly challenge at

Digi Doodles Shop.

I have been searching all morning for a new Memory Box Die that I bought, I have two of them but do you think I can find the one I wanted....no. I have had all my craft desk out I have up ended my bin, all the boxes and cupboards have been searched and it is nowhere to be seen. The dies are all brand new and I hadn't even taken them out of the packaging, I feel like I could cry. I bet if I order another one, which I will, it will turn up.

Anyway here is my DT card following this weeks theme

Browns and Blues

I have used one of the Body Tot images which I absolutely adore, then are such a fun lot to work with. This one is called Aunt Venie.

I have coloured her with Copics, the papers are from a Joanna Sheen pad and the brown one is from Bearlymine Designs. I have added some SU seam binding ribbon, gems, flowers and sentiment.

Happy Birthday in Red and Blue

Hi all today I have two cards to show you that I have made but before that I would like to share some news with you.

I have been so very lucky and have won 2 challenges the first was Totally Tilda and the second was Creative Craft Challenge, I have been so happy that my cards were chosen, thank you ladies.

These are my two cards

The first card is in Blue, I have used one of my Morehead Stamp sets, I have only used this once before and that was along time ago. I coloured her with Copics, I used Momento black Tuxedo ink for stamping both the image and the dragonflies. I used a little TH Vintage Photo ink for lightly distressing around the image. The paper is from a Joanna Sheen paper pad, I have added flowers, ribbon, gems, tags and sentiment.

My second card is in Red, I have used my Elusive Images Flower Stamp set, another set that i have had for so long but haven't used for a while, I stamped two sizes of blooms with Versamark Dazzle then embossed with Judikins Metallic Bronze powder, I cut all the flowers out and snipped into the petals so that I could mould them this way and that. The bp is from Bearly Mine Extreme Vol 1, I used a scalloped circle Nestie for the red spot paper, I used a Nellie Snellen flower die on white linen card for the flower to be mounted on, I used pearls for the centre of the flower. I added white ribbon, butterflies, gems and sentiment.

I'm In the Club

The Christmas Card Club that is, lol, I joined some fabulous ladies who have the same idea that I chose for my New Years Resolution and that is to make Christmas cards all year round. I was so happy that I joined as it gives me that little bit extra incentive and encouragement, if you would like to visit the other ladies their links are in my side bar.

The theme chosen for this particular card is Think Thin, to make a Christmas card that is thin enough to pass through the 5mm limit set by the Post Office, so it will not cost extra if you want to post the card to a family member or friend.

I decided to use my Nordic stamp set, I told you that I would be using these a lot, lol.

I used the colour combo of Black, White and Red, the white card is Linen effect, I have used Versafine and Momento ink pads, I used the double Reindeer stamp and sentiment that I cut out with a nestie die cut, I punched two holes to thread some thin red ribbon through then adhered it to the card. I did add some small red and black gems but they are only titchy.

I have taken a picture of the side view to show you that this card is definitely thin.

I have used papers from Bearly Mine Designs Extreme Vol 1, the black card is a tapestry card from Joanna Sheen, I have used quite a few die cuts, scalloped ovals, flourishes, hearts and small flowers. I have added pink pearls and black gems that I got from Mei Flowers shop, finally I stamped the sentiment in the corner. I have had this particular Tilda since last year but this is the first time that I have inked her up, I coloured her with a mixture of Flex and ordinary Pro Markers and sprinkled her with silver glitter.

DIGI DOODLES SHOP CHALLENGE #90

Hi all today we have a new challenge for you at

DIGI DOODLES SHOP BEST

the theme this week is

EMBOSSING

this can be dry embossing, heat embossed or both , the choice is yours.

The winner of the challenge will receive a $10 voucher to spend instore, which is great as now there is a 99c section and a reward point system, the images are truly fantastic.

Here is my DT card

I chose one of the 1930's style images and coloured her with Copics, I embossed the frame with my Hougie Board then distressed both the picture and frame to give it an aged look. I heat embossed the bottom corner using gold embossing powder and a stamp from LOTV.

The flower is also embossed using a Crafting Companions embossing board, I used Kraft card for the lower petals then vellum for the top layer, I cut into the top petals for a raised effect, I then added gems to the centre. I used a doily which I distressed and some cheesecloth.

Two for The Price Of One

Hi all today I have two cards to show you that I have been working on. My New Years resolution was to make Christmas cards all year to ensure I had enough to send out to both family and friends, I am determined to keep that resolution, lol.

I have made two cards featuring two of my H&S stamps plus my brand new Nordic stamps from Waltzing mouse Stamps. I love the Nordic style and while visiting my blogging friends found just what I wanted and decided to treat myself.

I stamped the images with Momento Black Tuxedo ink then coloured with Copics, instead of papers I used my Nordic set of stamps for the background, I actually dug out my Versamark ink pads that I have had for years and used them for the colours.

I love these stamps so much that you may be seeing a lot of my Christmas cards featuring this style.

My first picture show the two cards together.

On my red and green card I added some gems and ribbon.

My second card I added no embellishments at all.

Hi all, it seems an age that I have been waiting for this day to come, today there is a new challenge at Ooh La La and this is my debut DT for

I am both excited and a little nervous

Here is my DT card

I used an image and papers from a bonus section, as I adore vintage so much I chose this particular image and matching papers. I have used quite a few embellishments on this card, including die cuts, bow, pearls and flowers.

The first two pictures show the card front at different angles.

My next two pictures show the card as the easel card fold.

The final picture shows the base of the card with the lace and the heat embossed sentiment.

I picked out the colour of the brides pink flower bouquet for my embellishments and flowers.

I have to apologise for my lack of blogging these last few days, not only as my son been afflicted with Man flu but my Mum has not been well either so I have been rather tied up. I am pleased to report that both patients seem a little better today and managed to eat the roast dinner that I cooked for them.

I do tend to worry about my mum more as she is 92 and is a bit fragile.

For my cards I have used two of the new images from the set below, I have coloured them both with Copics.

The first card I have used the pink and black colour theme, the papers are from Bo Bunny Enchanted paper pack, I added a bow, flowers, gems and sentiment.

My second card I made is using a more pastel colour theme of green and yellow, the paper is from Bearly Mine Spots set, I used a Nestie die cut then embossed it with the dotty folder, I distressed the oval with TH ink, using my new distressing brush from Inkylicious, I find them so much easier to use. I have added spotty ribbon, gems, flowers and sentiment.

The spotty ribbon and gems I purchased from Mei Flowers who have a sale on at the moment of 25%. I just thought that I would share this with you has the gems are at a fantastic price and now I can use them more freely on my projects as the prices are good with or without the sale.

Red & White Tilda

Hi all I would like to wish everyone a very

HAPPY NEW YEAR

I don't normally make New Year resolutions but this time I made an exception, I am making Christmas cards for 2012, I am determined not to leave it until the last moment and have to buy any, lol, I really hope that I can keep this resolution, if I do it will be the first ever, lol.

I have made a card that I hope will suit the following challenges:

For my card I have used one of my beloved Tilda stamps, I stamped her with SU Razzleberry ink and coloured her with Copics. The papers are from Bearly Mine Designs, Christmas Swirls and Christmas Wonderland sets. I have mounted the papers onto red mirri card. I used the TH Clock face die cut but cut it in half for a sort of arch effect for Tilda. The snowflakes are Marianne Die Cuts I used the red mirri card then added white pearls for their centres, I stamped a LOTV sentiment with Versamark Dazzle and heat embossed it with white powder. I added both white and red ribbon plus a couple of bows. I used white gel pen on Tilda's hair for a snow effect then on her dress and socks to make it look a bit like stitching

For my card I used 3 designs of paper from the new Basic Grey, Little Black Dress paper pad, I added the TH Clock face die cut which I added some silver glitter, the ribbon is from SU, I stamped Tilda with Momento Black Tuxedo ink and coloured with Copics, I added silver glitter to her hair ribbon and wings, I added some black gems and pink roses. I used a small clear 'thanks' stamp which I inked with Momento Black Tuxedo ink and stamped around the edge of the card.

TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS CARDS

Hi all I made two cards yesterday for my mum I had a look at the challenges that are about and decided to go for the traditional theme.

The first one is made using an 8x8 white scalloped card base, red mirri card, Ooh-La-La Poinsettia and Holly set of both papers and toppers, I added some flowers, lace, ribbon, gems bow, bell and a tag which I embossed with Judikins Bronze Metallic embossing powder.

My second card is one that James will give his Nan, I have used a digi image from Vintage Milly, she has just brought out a range of gorgeous digi images available HERE this one is called Reindeer Emily, I have coloured her using Copics, I printed the image twice the second one I cut out and adhered her to the base one with silicone glue, I used gold glitter for the little string of bells, I used papers from my stash, black card for mounting, gold metallic card for the base, TH Die Cut, punched snowflakes, gems, sentiment embossed with Judikins Bronze Metallic powder and some Poinsettia flowers from Wild Orchid.

I did the inside card with a flap so I could put in a little gift of a special tasting cocoa.

My term starts in January so I have so much to look forward to

Their new challenge has started today the theme is

I was asked, on very short notice by my son, to make two birthday cards for one of his mates, I was not a happy bunny as I think my mojo has started the Christmas holidays early, at least I can't seem to find it anywhere at the moment. Also my son always wants everything he asks for straight away, fortunately I had some new digi images from Tickled Pink, I won a candy voucher from SHELBY, I have wanted some of these digi's for a long time now and this was a great opportunity for me to get a few.

My first card shows the image Lil Fashionette 20's Evie, I have coloured her with a combination of Flexi and Pro markers, the papers are also a mixture the base one being from SU, I added a doily, flower, computer generated sentiment and some gems.

My second card shows the digi image 'Lil Victorian Lylah' I used Copics to colour her in, the papers are from my stash I added flowers, butterfly, sentiment, lace and gems

For my card I have used both papers and inserts from BMD Extreme Vol 3, I have used one of my beloved Tilda images stamped with Momento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured with Copics, I have used black card for the base and for mounting, I used a Whimsy calender stamp, glittered snowflakes and card candy, I distressed the edges of the papers then used silver glitter to highlight the distressing, finally I stamped the sentiment.

Hi all first may I thank you with all my heart for your concern for Polo, I am one very happy lady as I think the new tablets the Vet gave me for Po are beginning to work, thank the Lord.

I actually managed to make a card last night for some challenges, I am so behind with making Christmas cards that I have been very naughty and bought some, that is the first time in several years that I have done such a thing.

For my card I have used an 8x8 white pearlescent card base, the papers are Bearlymine Extreme Vol 3, I have used one of my beloved Tilda images from last Christmas and coloured her with Copics. all papers and image have been mounted onto black card.

I added some silver sparkly snowflakes, black and white gems, lace, pink metallic elastic twine and bow.

The above picture shows a sideways view of the card.

The letters of 'Joy' I stamped with black momento ink, I then stamped a snowflake onto the letters cut them out and glazed them with Glossy Accents.

Below is a picture of my handsome boy Polo, I took this yesterday and he is able to stand now which is such a huge relief and my prayers have been answered.

I have started to do my commenting but it will take a few days to catch up but I am so enjoying seeing your beautiful creations, they are giving me some much needed inspiration, I have missed you all and I am so grateful to have such wonderful friends, thank you all so much.

for my DT card I have used the Santa image available from

I certainly piled on the sparkle with this one, the papers are from Bearlymine, I have highlighted the centres of the snowflakes and swirls with silver glitter, I also used the glitter for Santa's fur bits, I have mounted the papers onto black card, the image I coloured with Copics then cut out and used silicone to 3'd him, I then added some black ribbon and a sentiment which I distressed with TH ink.

This card is actually winging it's way across the miles as we speak.

I want to thank each and every one of you with all my heart, that left me messages about my little dog Polo, I took him to the Vets who suggested that I put him on some new tablets to see if they would help.

This was a reprieve for me and I feel that I am a bit of a coward but I desperately wanted to keep my Po with me. I have until a week today to see if there is any improvement.

You have all been so kind and understanding, you will never know just how much you mean to me, the support you have shown is truly wonderful and I thank you so very, very much.

Here is my GDT card

I decided to try for a monochromatic card, the image is actually a stamped one from Polka Doodles, I have coloured him with Copics and distressed the edges of the oval. The papers are a mixture, I added a sentiment, self adhesive corners, snowflakes with gold gems as their centres, gold and silver ribbon and finally a huge snowflake that I found in my stash, I distressed it with TH Vintage Photo then sprayed the whole snowflake with Crafters Companion Iridescent glitter spray, I added a vintage style central sticker, copper tinsel like thread and gold gems.

Painful Times

Hi all I wanted to let you know why I have not been posting anything other than my DT work.

My little dog Polo is not good, he has been suffering for quite a while with his back legs but now his front ones are also affected, which means that he is practically unable to walk.

His mind and looks are just the same, he looks no older, his eyes are bright and alert, so is his mind but his body is being taken over by the age process.

He is now 16 1/2 yrs of age and I may have to let him go very soon. It is breaking my heart, I have no will to create any cards or do crafting of any sorts. To be truthful nothing else matters to me at the moment than my Polo, I have battled in my mind and heart, I don't want to let him go, I expect a miracle to happen and that he will be ok but somehow deep down I know that there will be no miracle.

I know that some of my friends in blog land have recently lost their own beloved animals and I know that some of you will understand how I am feeling at this time.

I will be scheduling my DT work and hopefully comment as and when I can.

While on my travels in blog land I have seen this shape card many times and have always wanted to have ago, so I got out my circle cutter and cut a large circle from black card stock, I used a doily and several layers of scalloped circles in both mirri card and black card, the image is from

For my card I have used a rubber stamp that I bought quite awhile ago from Funky Kits, I have coloured her with Copics, the papers are Basic Grey, I have added a red lame ribbon that sparkles beautifully when the light is on it, I topped it with green ribbon and bow, the flowers are from Wild Orchid I added a sentiment, pearls and crystal gems. Below is a closer view of the image.

For my card I have followed the sketch by Carly, this is my first time entering this challenge, the papers are a mixture of Bearlymine and Papermania, the base card is an 8x8 white scalloped card, I have mounted the pink paper onto holographic silver mirri card which sparkles for sure. I used the same mirri card for the small snowflakes and holly leaves that I placed around the image. I used a punched butterfly double mounted with silver holographic mirri card and the pink paper, I added gems, die cut snowflakes and some pink pom poms, I added a white pom pom to Tilda's hat. I coloured Tilda with Copics, the pink mount I cut using a grand caliber die cut, the sentiment is from LOTV.

Hi all, first may I thank you all for your comments and well wishes, I am feeling much better now and will be receiving some joy today when I visit all my blogging friends.

Today I have a card to show you that I made using an image from Digi Doodle Shop it is called 'Birthday Buddies'. This particular card I made to help with a special cause in mind,

Dove Of Peace Take Two

Hi all first may I apologise for not visiting you all unfortunately, my cold has got worse instead of better, even though I had my flu jab, it seems to have moved to my head which now feels like a ball of wet cotton wool. I managed to get this card finished without sneezing all over it, lol, I hope I am not putting you off.

I have used my Patchwork, Dove of Peace stamp again but kept the colours to blue and brown, I coloured it with Copics.

The papers are a mixture, the base brown dot one is from Bearlymine Christmas Wishes digi set, the two blue papers are from the Paper Pad Challenge which is a blog that I found last week at Feline Playful they supply the freebie papers for you to make a card with, I thought they were quite lovely and was inspired to make this card. I have mounted all the papers onto pastel blue card, I used Marianne Die cuts for the Snowflakes, the sentiment is from LOTV I added some silver card candy to the centre of the flakes.

Here is my DT project

I found an old cardboard box which I thought would be perfect for storing my Copics. I have used papers from the sets Floral Dreams and Fairy Dreams. I have used Tilda coloured with Copics, I distressed around the edge of the die cut, I found some cream and gold thingy (can't think what you call it) that I have had for a few years, I fixed it around the edges using my hot glue gun. I used some cream card which I punched with a MS border punch, I used some pink organza ribbon tied in bows, added some large pink and cream roses to the corners then found some little dolls that I had forgotten that I had, I fixed them by the sides of each Tilda image.

I have used one of my H&S stamps, I used Momento Tuxedo Black ink, cut her out and coloured her with Promarkers and Fleximarkers. I have used brown card for the base and the mounts for image and papers. I have used my distressing tool on the papers which are a mixture of SU and the strip which was from my stash box. I distressed the image and papers with TH Vintage Photo distress ink, I added lace, pearls, gems, sentiment, seam binding ribbon and doily.

Hi all firstly may I thank you all for your comments on my previous posts, they really make my day.

I have two cards to show today, my first one is a new stamp that I got from Crafts 4 You it is a clear Woodware stamp. I inked him with Momento Tuxedo ink, coloured it with Copics, then cut him out and mounted him with silicone glue, onto a Marianne Die Cut, the paper is My Minds Eye, the corners and ribbon strip are self adhesive which I won in a candy.

My second card I made with a certain person in mind, the image is a digi but I have no name for her, my apologies. (Edited) I have been told that this image is from HERE. I have coloured her with Copics, I added some glossy accents to her glasses, the papers are from Bearlymine, I have used mirri card for the mounts. The sentiment is computer generated, the inserts are also from Bearlymine Ext Vol 3, the sentiments have been inserted by way of MCS.

I have used a beautiful image from the Vintage range which is available from

I have coloured her with Promarkers and Sakura Gel Pens, the card shape is created using the Grand Caliber and a Grand Caliber Oval die, i used different sizes of the dies to create the layered look. I distressed the outer edge of the image with TH distress ink, I added purple gems and lots of flowers, I do apologise for the card looking a bit squew whiff.

I had such fun creating this digital LO, so easy and I used many elements from my own Digi files.

I started off using the spider web dp from Bearlymine Designs, the central image is from My Memories Suite download, the words I typed in, once again, using the My Memories Suite #2 digital programme, the little image is a pre-coloured one from Digital Ink that I found in my Digi Image folder, he is so cute, I have had him for absolutely ages but this is the first time I have used him.

Hi all I have two cards in this post today before I get onto them I wanted to let you know that I won last weeks Anyone For Anya challenge, I was so thrilled when I saw that I had be chosen as the winner, thank you girls at AFA

My first card I have made for the following challenges:

Anyone For Anya - Monochromatic

The Crafty Pad - Monochromatic

Stamptacular Sunday - You Choose (anything Goes)

For my card I have used one of my all time favourite stamps the Christmas Anya, I used black Momento Tuxedo ink, I coloured her with Promarkers then added glitter to the furry bits and cut her out. I used an oval scalloped die cut to mount her on with silicone glue, I distressed the white nestie with both worn lipstick and vintage photo distress inks, I used red liquid pearls and stamped a holly leaf and mounted above her head. The papers are a mixture of Docrafts, My Minds Eye and Basic Grey, all the papers shapes have been mounted onto red card. I added a red lame ribbon and bow, the sentiment I distressed with worn lipstick ink, finally I added a flower and some leaves.

My second card is something I have wanted to try for ages after seeing so many wonderful CAS cards while visiting my blogging buddies.

It is both minimal and black and white, I believe this will be eligible for some of the Halloween Challenges that are around at the moment but if not please delete it.

For my card I have used an 8x8 white scalloped card base, the layers are all Tapestry embossed card and very treasured, but I just felt I wanted something a little extra as I did not want to use any dp. The image is from Delicious Doodles which I have had for ages but I love it, the Gargoyle reminds me so much of the many horror films that I love to watch.

I used my SU punch for the corners, I added black card candy and my wide SU black and white ribbon.

I Love Promarkers - Autumnal Colours

For my card I have used a Saturated Fairy image from the Ragamuffin range, I have coloured her with Promarkers, I used the white dotty effect around the image after seeing the tutorial and so much wonderful inspiration from Nic aka Coops.

The papers are SU, I have used faux stitching around the image and the papers, I added a red heart doily, yellow ribbon and bow, punched red butterflies and green leaves.

The base card I have used my MS round the page punch, I had to watch a video tutorial to get the sizes right, I still have to practice with this.

The promarkers used, if I can remember correctly, are Ruby Red, Berry Red, Poppy Red, Ice Grey 3, Sandstone, Blush, Burnt Orange, Coral, Sunkissed Pink, Ivory and Pastel Beige.

Hi all as promised this is my second post of the day and this is my DT card for our new weekly challenge at

we have a lovely theme this week for you to try, it is

LAVENDER AND LACE

For my card I have used and image called 'Violets', I have used Promarkers to colour then added Glossy Accents to the flowers. I used my Scalloped Nesties circles for the centre, the papers are from Bearlymine both the Simply Dots and Damask selections. The lace I have had for simply ages and forgot I had it, it is deep purple and from the Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen range. I added purple gems, butterflies and a little stamped sentiment.

That Spirit of Christmas

For my card I have used a 6x6 scalloped edged card, the image is from Karen's Doodles called Christmas Morning Girl, I have coloured her with Copics.

The papers are from my stash I have had them for years and found them out a few weeks ago, I was pleasantly surprised as they have a vintage look to them.

I distressed the edges of one of the papers and distressed around the image with TH Vintage Photo, I added a die cut border across the centre, the gold rhinestone gems and flowers are from WOC. I didn't do much else to this card as I felt that the image did all the talking, the happiness on her face is priceless.

I have based the colour of my card on the inspirational photo from Anyone For Anya's challenge, I found Kathy's Waffle Sketch File Challenge while visiting blog friends, I really liked the look of the sketch (above) and thought I would try it out. I am determined to get as many Christmas cards done as possible from now on so I found some Christmas themed Challenge blogs, also while visiting.

For my card I have used an image from TGF called Toby Santa, some of you will probably remember this little cutie from a few weeks back. The colour theme was a little challenging for me as I have never done a grey coloured image before, I have been so impressed and inspired by what I have seen that I really wanted to try it out, I am quite pleased with the effect.

I used my Scalloped Nestie Circles both for the image and the stamped LOTV sentiment, I also used a rounded corner punch and my SU word punch for the top three strips. The paper is from the V&A Linen Christmas pad, the large black strips I have glittered with Silver Mica fine glitter, I did this by using double sided tape, I added clear rhinestone gems to the top 3 strips. I found a Holly stamp which I used on some of the bp scraps, cut them out and added Fairy Dust Glitter for the berries, I also added some to Toby's hat and beard.

Here is my DT card

I have used the Bearlymine Papers, Simply Dots and Floral Dreams I have used a Tilda image coloured with Copics. The oval has been distressed with TH Ink then mounted onto the Simply Dots paper which has been mounted onto dark blue card, I have added gems in the four corners. The papers Floral Dreams I have mounted onto card which I have distressed using TH Vintage Photo ink, the frame I made using a SU border punch. I added flowers, leaves and a stamped sentiment with more gems in the right bottom corner.

I took two photos of my card at different angles to see if I could get the glitter to show up, I do hope that you can see it ok. I have used an LOTV image coloured with Copics, I added glitter to the parcels and mounted the image onto both black and red card, the papers are from Dovecrafts a freebie in a craft mag, I added lots of ruby rhinestones and a strip of red mica glitter at the bottom, the white papers has very small stars on, I used a Sakura Glue pen and added the same glitter to most of the stars.

Pink and Girly

Hi all I have some wonderful news to share with you and that is I won card of the week at Karens Doodles and was chosen in the top 3 at both 2 Sisters Challenge and Tuesday Throwdown, wow, I am on top of the world, thank you ladies for these wins.

I have made something a little different today, I think my creative juices are starting to flow, lol, I have made a Shadow Box card. It folds to an A5 size so is quite large after using mainly 6x6 card stock.

I found some beautiful pink card-stock in my stash, at first I thought it was pearlescent but it is quite rough to the touch so not sure what it's called. I used one of my Grande Nestie Dies to cut the centre aperture, I found some gorgeous pink paper that I got from Elusive Images, while I was a member, and used this on the inside.

I have used two of my new rubber stamps called Dolly Pip and Cherry Pip both from Funky Kits. I stamped them with Momento Tuxedo Black ink, coloured with Copics then cut them out. Dolly Pip I cut out twice and 3d'd her in the centre, Cherry Pip I stamped once then cut her out and adhered her to the front by way of silicone glue. I found my pink daisy lace which I fixed around the centre aperture, I punched out 2 butterflies, then added liquid pearls for their centre stem, I used my die cut for the white pearlescent leaves and added lots of flowers, my final touch was to add a lace bow in the centre just above Dolly Pip.

I would like to thank Nic aka Coops for so much inspiration, I first saw these little cuties on her blog and fell in love with them. I want to thank you all though as you all inspire me so much, I would not be able to do this if it wasn't for my wonderful blogging pals.

I have also added a metallic green leaf, some die cut leaves, brown vintage lace, flowers and butterflies.

I have used a Saturated Fairy image called Gypsy Dancer, as soon as I saw her I thought of the song sung by Cher, Thieves, Thieves, Tramps and Thieves, I just had to have her.

I am not sure my colouring of her has done her justice, I used Copics and wanted to create a sort of suede effect, I think I failed, never mind. the papers are V&A Vintage Linen, I added a SU ribbon, bow and yellow buttons, I did stamp around the image with my 'sand' effect stamp.

Hi all today I have two cards to show you that I have made for the following challenges:

Whimsy Stamps Challenge - Pink & Brown

Karens Doodles - Pink & Brown

Everybody Art Challenge - Pink & Brown

2 Sisters Challenge - Gingham and/or Plaid (I used both)

My card base is silver pearlescent silk art card, the papers are from Bearlymine, I have used an image from Karens Doodles called Scarecrow Girl, I have coloured her with Copics, I also added buttons, card candy, organza bow and SU sentiment.

My next card I have made using the sketch from Anyone For Anya, I have used an image from TGF called Toby Santa, I have coloured him with Copics then cut it out with my circle scalloped Nesties, the papers are from Bearlymine Christmas Wishes, I have mounted all the papers onto pale blue card then used an 8x8 white pearlescent card for the base. I have used die cut snowflakes, card candy, flowers, bow and ribbons.
