ANNIVERSARY

Good morning everyone, I actually made a card this week but only because it was by request.  I have had so much trouble with the computer that I lost all heart.  However, after reading all your comments I picked up a few tips and now I can comment by right clicking on the comment button, Blogger is still not as it used to be but I can put up with that as long as I can visit you all and leave you a bit of love. I deleted a Malware programme that I have not really been happy with and that also seemed to make my computer a bit quicker, I am not saying too much in case Blogger or Chrome is listening.
At the beginning of the week my son asked me to make a card for his girlfriend's parents Silver Wedding Anniversary, this is what I came up with and at 3.45 am this morning I was told they loved it.
I have used an 8 x 8 white scalloped card base, I mounted black card stock, silver mirri card and white pearlescent card the latter I embossed with my 8 x 8 Embossilicious Swirl folder.  I then used my Tonic die cuts on black card the white pearlescent, I mounted them to the base card with foam pads for dimension,
I added some Viva Decor Silver Pearl drops, a wide double bow, Lily and a computer generated sentiment.
For once I also decorated the inside of the card mimicking the outside layers with the exception of the die cuts, this time I used X Cut scalloped rectangle dies in the 3 colours, the verse is from my Crafty Caz Ultimate Verse CD, I personalised it to read Mum and Dad, I then added two die cut/embossed silver hearts.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Many thanks to everyone who offered me help with Blogger I am so grateful, I also appreciate the time you have taken to come visit me and leave me a comment on my postings, it really does mean so much to me, Thank You.
See you soon.

This is a gorgeous Anniversary card Lorraine, such an elegant design and the inside is beautifully decorated as well.
The only problem I have commenting on some blogs on bloglovin is that I have to click on the cross in the top right hand corner before I can open the comment box - your blog is one of those.
Have a lovely weekend.

A gorgeous card, love the elegance of white, black and silver. Computer issues are so frustrating, I can lose hours sometimes fiddling about with it, than I feel I could just throw it out of the window! Don't think hubby would be too pleased though.

So sorry to hear about your computer troubles and leaving a comment is time consuming in itself without any problems, so you are very sweet for doing so!! (Please don't worry about doing that for me!! I will still visit you!!)

Hi Lorraine, sorry to hear you are also having trouble with blogger, it would seem that a lot of us are. At the moment my reading list is showing up if I'm on either chrome or explorer so all is good, I'm hoping that it stays that way. I haven't got any problems with trojans as you mentioned, or any other virus's, malware etc, I regularly 'clean' both my PC and my laptop to make sure, plus my son (he's a computer geek LOL) keeps an eye on it for me so I'm lucky there. I've just had my laptop sorted as I couldn't get on the internet but my son sorted it for me, thank goodness. So lets both keep our fingers crossed that Mr Blogger starts behaving himself, he can be such a pain!! Take care, hugs Jacee
