EXPLODING CHRISTMAS CRACKER

Hi all, I made this Christmas Cracker Exploding gift box recently after seeing Katherine demo it on Create and Craft I thought that I would have ago and here is my finished project.
For my base card I used a satin gold mirri card I punched the top with an EK Success border punch, for my layers on each of the sides I used some burgundy card stock topped with Bazzill Shimmer card stock that I embossed with my snowflake embossing folder, on two sides I added some Cosmic Shimmer Red Berry PVA glue for the pearls then added my die cut burgundy Poinsettia's, on the other two sides I used my beloved Tilda dressed as a Christmas Angel I stamped the image then coloured with copics and cut her out I added Pinflair Ice diamond to her wings, I made a tag with some of the left over embossed card and added a Tonic die cut sentiment I tied the tag with both twine and burgundy polka dot ribbon.
I took several photos so you could see the box from different angles.

I placed a votive candle on the inside as the gift, my mum loved it so much that she asked if she could have it to give to one of her church friends, of course I was more than happy that she thought it good enough to give to her special pal. I used Poinsettia paper for the inside.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
I really would like to thank everyone for visiting and leaving me such lovely comments on my work I appreciate it so much.
I will see you very soon until then have a great weekend

This is gorgeous to hold a candle, and your Tilda angel was perfect as the decoration. I can see why your Mom wanted to gift this to a loved friend, and how good of you to donate it for her special purpose. It's lovely, and so are you to take care of your sweet Mom. TFS & Hugs
