Bunny Boy Blue

Hi all sorry for not visiting you all but my mum came to stay with me on Tuesday and didn't leave until Friday so I haven't had time for any crafting worth talking about.
I started this one yesterday and just finished it I am entering it to several challenges which I will list below.
I have used a Precious Moments image coloured with Copics, I used my Nesties scalloped circles to cut it out and the mounted onto green card also cut with a Nesties scalloped circle.
The gingham paper is Bearlymine the other I found in my stash.  I have used faux stitching, I added flowers, sentiment and MS butterfly trio.
To add dimension I used foam pads for the central image also the stamped sentiment.  I have added Star Dust Stickles to both flowers and butterflies.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

I was fortunate enough to have won three challenges last week
CES
Papertake Weekly
Delicious Doodles
I am so thrilled that my name was picked out and I have won some really beautiful goodies.
I hope to see you some time soon but my mum is coming back tonight to stay for a couple of days, once I am on my own again I will be coming to visit.

Easter Card

Hi all the weather has changed quite a bit today it is raining and a little cold but all I can say is that the gardens need it badly.

While I was out and about in the land of blog yesterday I visited a blog called
Nicecrane Designs, wow, if you are an animal lover especially dogs then you must pay a visit to this site.  If you are a lover of Vintage and collage art then a visit is also a must.  Peter Rabbit vintage style is there in abundance and a freebie to be had as well.

I could not resist this image which is from the new Merry Party range of Doggy Digi's, I just had to have it, I thought it was perfect for Easter but can also be used for any occasion.
I used the PNG format and inserted the words by way of MCS.
I used promarkers to colour,  the papers are Bearlymine which have been mounted onto gold mirri card as well as the image.  I added some SU Choc Chip ribbon, flowers and a gold mirri butterfly.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges below

I hope you like my card and don't forget to pop over to Nicecrane and have a gander.

I have edited this to say that for the first time in months I am actually feeling like my old self today,  I am so enjoying visiting all my blogging friends and seeing the amazing creations that you have all done.  I am never sure what I am going to feel like from one day to the next but you have all be wonderful and showing true friendship by staying with me, I just had to say a big thank you to you all.

The card base is red 6x6 the front of the card I cut half off then adhered a punched white lace border.  The papers are Bearlymine, I used a die cut for the corners on the inside of the card and my SU punch for the corners on the outside.
I used a computer generated sentiment which I punched out with my SU scalloped punch.

On the inside of the card I added a plain scalloped Nestie also a circle sentiment also available from Crafty Sentiments, finally I added some clear gems the the centre of the swirls both inside and out.

Here is my DT project

I decided that I wanted to make an Easter Bonnet but I also wanted to use it as a hanging display and this is what I came up with.
The first picture shows the hanger in it's entirety
I had thought about this project for some time, I wanted to make my very own bonnet from scratch and thought of the ways I could do it.  I have made an Easter Bonnet before about six years ago for my sister, it was different to this one but it still hangs in her living room to this day.
It has been awhile since I got the urge to create something like this so I do hope that you will like it.
My first job was to create the template I used circles and a tool that I bought several weeks ago, a Hot Glue Gun, I love it, wish I had bought one a lot sooner.
Once I had my circles I put them together to make the base for me to work on
I wanted to make some of my own flowers so I used my Dimension Fourth flower stamp and flourish.  I used SU Rich Rassleberry ink.
I stamped 12 flowers cut them out and put them together.  I used raffia ribbon around the middle of the hat and adhered my four large flowers to the front.
I found some nice dark pink binding sort of ribbon and glued that to the top of the hat circle, from there I used many flowers that I bought from Wild Orchid
I did not want just the bonnet but also an image that was suitable for Easter and found this Penny Black Slapstick stamp which I stamped with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink then coloured with Copics.  I used the Nestie No 4 label die to cut her out, I inked around the frame with Versamagic Pink ink for a soft effect, I also cut the same size label with SU Rassleberry card and adhered to the back of the image for strength.
Once I had the image ready I used my crop a dile to punch a hole in the brim of the hat, fixed an eyelet then threaded through this wide gold ribbon, I adhered the image, I also used the same ribbon to make a large bow for the back of my bonnet, then added some gold hat pins.
Finally I used the same SU Rassleberry card to die cut two butterflies which I glued to the hat and top if the hanger ribbon.

I would also like to enter this Easter/Spring project into the following challenges

Wow this has been a long post for me but I hope that you have enjoyed seeing what I have made and maybe I have given you a little inspiration, for even more please pay a visit to the other DT their work is brilliant.
I hope that we will see you all at our Creative Inspirations Easter challenge.
Bye for now see you very soon
Hugs
