Blog Award

Well today started off perfectly, first I found that I had won the Pixie Cottage, Ribbon and Bow challenge, then I found that I had won a prize off Keryn from Delicious Doodles Blog Hop then finally Rebekah passed this fabulous award onto me.  It may be dark, cold and dreary here in Gloucestershire but my day has suddenly filled with sunshine.
I made this card for a DT project but I go it wrong, however, I still wanted to enter it into a couple of  challenges which are as follows:
I have used Basic Grey papers, wooden snowflakes coloured with Copics, SU dotty ribbon, gems, ticket sentiment and a Hanglar & Stanglar image stamped with SU Choc Chip ink and coloured with Prisma pencils and Sansodor.

I would like to thank everyone for the lovely comments that I receive they are so uplifting and bring me such joy so Thank You.

Jolly Snowmen and a Cuppa

Morning all this is my second post today so please scroll down for my Aud Sentiments DT card.

It's Thursday which means a day of new Meljen releases that are available to purchase at
I thought I would show you just two of the new images just to whet your appetite, lol.
The first image I have used is the three jolly snowmen, which I have coloured with Copics, I have used mirror board and Papermania bp, I added some lace and a Whimsy Digi Sentiment by Ann Vento also available at Whimsy Stamps. The base card is silver and deckle edged which I found while looking through my ample stash.
My next card is showing the Christmas mug of cocoa and marshmallows, I have coloured the image with Copics and mounted onto a Pewter coloured mirror card, the bp is Papermania, I have also added a sentiment, gold glittered strips, red stars and lace.
For all Meljen images please visit Whimsy Stamps you will be spoilt for choice.
I hope you have enjoyed viewing my cards and maybe have given you a little inspiration.

Aud Sentiments #16

Hi all we have a new challenge for you at Aud Sentiments we would like to see the sentiment
Ho Ho Ho
on your card/project
For this challenge we have Taylored Expressions! as our sponsor

They are giving the winner a beautiful stamp set called Tweet Hearts.

If you haven't been to their store or blog you must check them out.

Here is a little bit about them...

"Taylored Expressions is an online store full of whimsical rubber stamps, coordinating kits, and fresh ideas. You’ll find everything you need to satisfy your creative sweet tooth! Tune in to the Taylored Expressions blogfor weekly sketch challenges, inspiring ideas, and how-to videos!"
and here is my DT card

I have finally used a LOTV stamped image that was sent to me by a blogging friend for my birthday, I tend to hoard all stamped images that are sent to me as I may never be in a position to buy them for myself so I tend to be frugal with them, lol.
I have seen many cards/projects with this little bear on and I love him, I have coloured him with Copics, the bp is Basic Grey, I added some wide red ribbon to which I added some pearls.
I added a flower and a Cuddly Buddly stamped sentiment which I punched out then mounted onto a scalloped Nestie.
I do hope you will come join us for this challenge we really would love to see your cards/projects, if you would like to see some fabulous inspiration then please pay the other DT a visit their work is great.
Hugs to all see you later.

Golden Tilda and A Pussy Cat

Morning all today I have two cards to show you that I am entering into a few challenges.  My first card is showing Tilda with Gold and Glitz the challenges I am entering this into are as follows:
I have used one of my sitting Tilda's coloured with Copics and Glittered with Mica Gold Glitter, I have kept this clean and simple this time. The bp is K&Co, I have used the double sided tape method for the strips of glitter, I used wide tape for two of the strips, added a punched out circle of gold Star-dream card, then added a thinner dt for the glitter band that goes over the circle, I glittered a blank chipboard snowflake and used it as the centre for the flower.  The flower is Tim Holtz Tattered Florals Die Cuts which I bought from The Stamp Man. Finally I added some gold tear drop gems.

My next card I am entering into the following challenges:

I have used an 8x8 white card base, the paper is Papermania, the image is Jolly Josie from The Stamping Bazaar. I cut out the image with my scalloped Nestie and mounted onto a green mirror card circle which I cut using my circle cutter, the image I coloured with Copics, I added some silver holographic across the width the topped that with a wide silk ribbon and bow, I punched out some red mirror card stars, added some flowers and used lace for the corners.
I hope you have enjoyed viewing my cards and find some inspiration from them.
Hugs to all see you later.

Blue Noelle

Hi all today I would like to show you a card that I have made for the following challenges:
I decided to use Blue for my colour theme and also a new image from the Baby Bud Design range of digi Stamps, I have seen these around in the land of blog for awhile and they always appealed to me so I finally treated myself to a couple, if you would like to do the same or just look at the range then please visit HERE. There is a freebie being offered so go grab it.
This is the image called Noelle and I have coloured her with Copics, I added Diamond Stickles to her hat, collar and buttons, unfortunately it doesn't really show up on this photo.  The bp is some that I have had for a few years now and until very recently lay untouched in it's box, I bought it from Sue Smith at Kameo, anyone who watches Create and Craft will know Sue as a regular visitor and wonderful crafter. This particular paper is from an Oriental pack but I think it looks great for this Winter card as well.
I have used a 6x6 white scalloped base card, I cut the image and mount from my scalloped oval Nesties, the mount is actually blue mirror card, while I had my Cuttlebug out I decided to use the flower dies from Marianne Creatable's, I am so naughty because I have only used these once or twice, however, I just bought two A4 magnetic sheets to mount all my Nesties on and they are now easily accessible so I have no excuse now, lol.
I added some button for the flower centres, card candy and some bling gems I also used some of my new lace which I love and a Penny Black 'Noel' stamp around the image.
Ok I have rambled on a bit so please forgive me I do hope you enjoy my card.
Hugs to all and see you in a bit.
