One Stop Crafts Challenge #97 +

Hi all today we have a new challenge for you at
One Stop Craft Challenge and this week the theme is
Fashion Through The Ages
This weeks sponsor is our online discount store One Stop Card Crafts and we have a lovely selection ofCraftworks Card Candy worth £10.00.These delightful embellishments are great value for money and can be used to create some amazing effects on handmade cards.
Here is my DT card
I have chosen to use a stamp set that I have had for quite awhile from Joanna Sheen it is the Old Fashioned Dresses which I thought was perfect for this challenge.
I inked them with Momento Black Tuxedo Ink then mounted them onto black card I added a little bit of Diamond Stickles but wanted to keep them as they were to show off the beautiful detail of the dresses.
I wanted a Monochrome look and went for Black and White the papers are from Papermania Capsule Collection the Mono Paper Pack.
I added gems, handmade flowers, butterflies,silver metallic thread, MS punched leaves and a sentiment which came with the dress stamp set.
The DT have created some truly inspiring projects so please go have a look.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My next card is one that I have made for the following challenges:
I have used a new Digi Image called 'Hello' from QKR Stampede and is from the Digi-Bunnies range.  I coloured the image with promarkers, the bp is Papermania Hampstead collection, I added two different sized ribbons and bows, the flowers are from wild Orchid, finally I added some spacers with little white beads.
I hope you have enjoyed your visit to my blog today and maybe you have found a little inspiration along the way.
Hugs to all see you later.
Stamping Vacation DT Card
Hi all this is a DT card that I have made for Stamping Vacation's Embellish It Challenge and this month the chosen embellishment is....Use A Leaf on your card or project.
Well I have gone one farther and used both embellishments and stamps of leaves on my card, I am really wanting to know what you think of this one.
While sorting through some of my craft stash I found an A5 sheet of clear stamps of leaves in different sizes and shapes and thought they would be perfect for what I wanted.
I used Versafine Olive Green ink and used the shadow effect.  I wanted to keep this one CAS so used Autumnal colours, I found some wooden shaped leaves which I also added, the sentiment is one I have had for yonks but I think it is from Sue McMahon and is digital, I also added some orange gingham ribbon at the top.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog
Crafty Ann's Challenge-Monochromatic
Hi all today is a new challenge at Crafty Ann's the theme being Monochromatic
This will be my last DT for Crafty Ann until the New Year as I am taking an extended break due to personal reasons. I will be posting cards for other teams that I am on so please stay tuned.
I finally got to use this image from KK which I have coloured with Copics, I have used an 8x8 white base card. This one has been commandeered by my mum for one of her Grandson's whose birthday is this month and he is also a keen golfer.
I used a plain blue base card then cut two large circles the tartan one is from Crafty Ann's Digi Shop, I punched a couple of MS borders and fixed to the bottom added the sentiment and then punched four white circles and embossed them with the Swiss Dots folder so they look similar to golf balls, finally I added some white card candy.
I hope you like my card and maybe it will give you a little inspiration but please do visit the other DTM as their work is brilliant.
Sending you all bug hugs.
Come by and check out all the fabulous creations by the Design Team. See you there.
Morning all today is Thursday which means that there are some new Meljen Design Images that have been released and I am so pleased to be showcasing just one of them.
While on my visits to see you all I have seen several altered notepads I am always in need of these very cheap but essential items so I decided to have ago myself and a perfect excuse to use one of the new release images from Meljen Designs
Here is the notepad before.
Here it is after.
What better image to use than this fabulous bunny, I coloured her with the promarkers using the colours of my beloved Jojo. The paper is Basic Grey I cut this from a 12x12 sheet that I got from Crafty Emma's store, at this moment it is on special offer a brilliant price at £3.50 for 15 assorted sheets.
I used a MS corner punch as I covered the original colour of the pad with black card, I cut four circles added some card candy a flower and ric rac ribbon, I also added a K&Co chipboard 'L' so maybe my son will take the hint that this is my pad.  I have always admired the effect that the tied ribbons have on the spirals of these pads and couldn't wait to use up some scraps.
I really just went with the flow for this and I am quite happy with the outcome.
To view the new releases or to browse the whole range the please visit Whimsy Stamps and treat yourself.
Sending you all big hugs and see you in a bit.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I have not been around much lately mainly due to personal issues so I apologise for not visiting you all, I have had to make some difficult decisions, one of which was to step down from some of the DT's that I have had the pleasure of working on.
To add to my despondency my rabbit, Jojo who I have had for nine years, passed away last night.
I hope to be able to come visit later and see what wonderful work you have all been doing so I will say bye for now, and you all take care.

Digital Tuesday Challenge #75

Hi all, I honestly do not know where the weeks are going I can't believe it is already time for a new challenge at Digital Tuesday, but it is and this week Ellie has chosen the theme
Dots and Stripes
Our sponsor this week is Digital Delights
Here is my card
I have created quite a clean and simple card and added few embellishments.  I have used an image that I got from digital Delights ages ago called 'Flower Pot Rosie'
I have used my circle cutter and added flowers punched from my Pinflair Mini Punch, I am not sure of whose papers these are the front cover was missing but I think it is one of the vintage collections from Papermania, I found a little wooden flower pot in my stash coloured it with Copics and attached to the bottom corner, I also added a butterfly.
I hope you like my card and please do have a look at the other DTM's work they are gorgeous.
Please remember that you must use a Digital Image/download on your card/project.
Thank you so much for visiting me I hope you have enjoyed looking at my stuff
Big Hugs and see you soon.

Stamping Vacation DT Card #2

Morning all today I have one card to show you which is for the Colour Combo Challenge at
The colours we would like to see used on a card or project are
TEAL, BLACK, PURPLE.
Here is my card
I have finally coloured up one of my KK images and created my first 'Goth' card.  I am really pleased with how this one turned out I just love these KK images.  I coloured this beauty with promarkers, the bp is Elusive Images, I wanted to use a tall card for a little impact and used one of my prefolded A4, I added some ribbon and flowers from my stash.
Here is a closer look.
I seem to have had a few problems with the colours bleeding into one another maybe because I have blended quite a bit, I cut the image out and 3d'd her onto a handmade paper which I found while rummaging through my paper box, I punched the corners for a little added detail.
Stamping Vacation have a new challenge each day there are so many to choose from so why not head over and have a browse and maybe pick a few to enter, there is a $25 monthly prize draw.
Don't forget if you become a follower please mention my name.

Stamping Vacation will be having their very first blog hop at the end of September and there are some wonderful prizes up for grabs so please stay tuned.
Thank you so much for visiting I hope you like what you have seen
I will be seeing you all later to see your wonderful creations, I am a bit late as I had my mum come to stay this weekend, so I am a little behind.
Hugs to all
