OSCC #83 -DT Card

Morning all today is a new challenge at One Stop Crafts Challenge and the theme this week has been chosen by Carrie who would like to see you Make Your Own Design Papers.
I found this really exciting and quite different for me as I rarely, if ever, make my own DP so this was a great experience I hope you like what I have come up with.
Here is my card.
I have used a brown based 6x6 card I then sifted through my stamps and chose to use a SU stamp from a set called One Of A Kind.
I have used a combination of ink for stamping both Versacolour Orange and Yellow then Sepia Versafine.
I also chose Tilda and my main image coloured with the same combo as my DP I used my Nestie labels No4 added some flowers and leaves, orange iridescent gems, lace and orange gingham ribbon the sentiment is also from a SU pack.
Tilda I coloured with both promarkers and Copics.

Two Cards One post

Hi all I have two cards to show you I feel like I have been flooding you with so many creations lately that I really truly hope you don't get fed up with visiting me.
My first card is an easel fold and this one I am entering into the challenges at
I have incorporated the MMSC for this card I have used SU backing papers, lace, flowers, card candy and this beautiful image which was a freebie for everyone who joined in last week's Dottie's World challenge.
I have coloured the image with Copics mounted onto blue mirror card and used my Field of Sky stamp using a blue Versacolour ink pad.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My second card fits nicely into the new challenge at Totally Papercrafts the theme being Multi Fold
Well I think you will agree this is definitely Multi Fold
I have used a thick yellow card for my base the papers are SU, the ribbon is from my stash and very soft and shiny. I have used Longing Tilda for the main front picture stamp with Versafine Sepia and coloured with Copics the surrounding stamp is Elusive Images.
And this is the look you get when opened.........I have used Longing Tilda again coloured exactly the same I have turned the papers and used the other side added some card candy and lace.
This is yet another part of the card when fully opened, this time I have used a swirl die cut and another Elusive Images flower stamp coloured with Copics and cut out with a Nestie Circle the green nestie is vellum.
The part of the card where the swirl is is actually a gift slot the deeper yellow I inserted to show this.
I have edited this to show you the insert
This is a close up of the flower image.
Well I hope you have enjoyed my pictures and I hope I am not giving you all too much to see.
If anyone likes this fold and would like to try it then visit HERE for the tutorial.
Thank you so much for visiting  hugs to all
Whoopsie Daisy #2 Début DT Card
Hi all this is an exciting time for me as this is my début as a DTM for Whoopsie Daisy which is a monthly challenge.
This month a new challenge begins and the theme is RIBBONS & BOWS and would like to see you use them on whatever project you decide to create be it a card, ATC, bookmark, altered item or anything else you have in mind.
For a little inspiration I would like to show you my project which I hope you will like.
I decided to create a 'Tall Box' following a tutorial on Maria's blog for the box itself I used Bazzill card the papers are K&Co Brenda Walton DP.  I have added lace and flower display at the bottom the beautiful image is available from Linnie at Whoopsie Daisy  (No 39) I have coloured her with Copics then cut her out with a scalloped Nestie and mounted onto another scalloped Nestie using the same card as the box and added a peach satin ribbon bow.
I really wanted to try and capture the 'vintage' look which I adore so much.
For the top of the box I decorated with the same peach satin ribbon as the bow also added some lace effect ribbon and flower display.
I hope my project has inspired you but for even more creativity please visit the other DTM their work is totally gorgeous.
I hope you join us this month as we so love coming to see your creations
Hugs to all see you later.
Enchanting Fairy Knoll
Morning all
Now I want to tell you a little story which is very unlike me as you know but this story is about a magical secret place called the enchanting Fairy Knoll.
For many aeons fairies have lived at Fairy Knoll they have been very secret and shy but then they met a magical person call Brandi who gave these fairies confidence and love and showed them what a wonderful place the land of blog is, filled with so many lovely friendly people.
Slowly the fairies started to emerge the first one I met was Amelia cake who is still quite shy, then there is Lilith who is a bit more relaxed so now I am introducing you to Lilith isn't she beautiful.
These beautiful magical fairies will be paying a visit at least once a week.
Brandi is launching a new challenge blog called Friday Fun at Fairy Knoll all are welcome to come and play the winner will receive a beautiful fairy to take home and play with.
I really wanted to show Lilith off and decided to make a card all of her own using the new papers from Bearlymine an embossed rose panel, MS lace punch I also added some card candy Lilith is sitting on a gold background of mirror card.
I am also entering this into the following challenges
I am not very good a story telling lol but I hope you came with me to the place of enchantment
Fairy Knoll.
Hugs
to all see you later.
30 May 2010
Hi all this is another duo set that I made yesterday for the following challenges:
This is the duo this time I used my new SU Razzleberry card and papers and I must say this SU card is fabulous to work with I will definitely be ordering some more.
I coloured Tilda in the same colours as the card and paper the reverse of the paper is green as you can see on the circle both of these were cut out using my scalloped Nestie.
This picture is showing the tag.  I actually created the strip to put the tag in myself I used my crop a dile on my tag and added an eyelet to thread the organza ribbon through and made a bow, the same ribbon I have added to the top of the card. I also added some flowers from Wild Orchid.
This is another accordion file which actually measures approx 6x4 and is perfect for storing stamped images I have added a flower matching the ones on the card and some card candy I didn't want to over embellish these projects as I wanted to show them quite simple.  I am hoping to make more of these and try out with more embellishments.
I haven't offered any candy for some time mainly due to financial constraints what with the recession and all.  However, I would like, as a thank you to my followers, offer this little duo as a gift to one of you.
I will choose a follower by draw in two weeks time.
When leaving a comment please let me know if you prefer this one or the previous Hot Tilda one.
I know it isn't much but I will fill it with some stamped images and I really do want to thank you all so much for your continued encouragement and support.
The tutorial for this accordion file can be found on my tutorial page it was created by the very creative and inspirational Maria whose link is also on the same tutorial page.
Thank you for visiting hugs to all
Hot Tilda
This project I made for the following challenges:
I needed some therapy badly and decided not only to make a card but an accordion file bag as well.
The card I made using SU Melon Mambo card stock and SU Night and Day papers.  I stamped Tilda with cocoa Momento ink and coloured with promarkers.
The hot pink card piece I embossed with the Cuttlebug for texture then added ribbon, flowers and card candy.
This is the accordion file made with the same papers and card stock as the card I have used Velcro as a fastening this Tilda has also been coloured with promarkers.  The file can be used for many things but my idea is to fill it with stamped images.
The tutorial for this can be found HERE or on my Tutorial Page
